"Is Realms in Exile compatible with the new DLC?
Not yet... Our team is already hard at work on making Realms in Exile compatible with the new content, and we're aiming to get a compatibility patch out as soon as we can.

You can do this by using the 'Beta' functionality in Steam. Simply roll back your game version to 1.15.0, and you'll be able to play Realms to your heart's content while you wait. "Properties" -- "Beta" --- "1.15.0"
