1. Is there a roadmap, what is the general plan for the future updates? When will you add (Eriador, Dwarves, Hobbits, etc).
Yes, we do have a roadmap! We will not give hard dates because that’s just setting up for disappointment, but here is the rough outline for upcoming updates.
Realms 2.2
• Far Haradwaith – the Realms of Bellakar, An-Balkûmagân and Abrakhân – to the south of Umbar, another theater of the Great War, forgotten in the Westlands, is unfolding…
• Updated Minas Tirith, Osgiliath and Minas Morgul counties – The heartlands of Gondor will be seeing a revisiting by the skilled and diligent surveyors of the Academy of Pelargir, who aim for a more appropriate representation of the land.
• Andrast– the rugged peninsula, in name of Gondor but in truth lapsed, will be visited by our players as they travel to find the ancient summer-home of the Kings and Stewards on its coast.
Realms 3.0
• Elves! Feast with Thranduil the Elvenking in his halls in Aradhrynd or see the ethereal beauty of the Lady Galadriel in the glades of Lórien, the Heart of Elvendom on Earth. Cast down Dol Guldur, the foul seat of Khamûl, second greatest of the Nine. Shall Thranduil rebuild his father’s halls upon Amon Lanc, or will Celeborn see his vision of a Greater Lórien realized?
• Rhovanion and Rhûn – the Northmen of Dale and Dorwinion have thriving lands, and the men of Rhûn too bear an ancient and proud culture. The Beornings in the vales of the Anduin have long grappled with the neighboring goblins.
• 3.X Elvish and Easterling content – Smaller expansion patches to help expand and enrich the areas added in 3.0 while we lay groundwork for 4.0
Realms 4.0
• Dwarves! From the gold-filled halls of Erebor, the last holdouts of the expedition of Balin in Moria, to the stout and strong Longbeards of the Iron Hills, the Children of Aulë are proud and skilled. Khazad-dûm awaits its reclamation, and Gundabad must be cleansed of goblin filth!
• 4.X Dwarven and Dale content – Smaller expansion patches to help expand and enrich the areas added in 4.0 while we lay groundwork for 5.0
Realms 5.0
• Hobbits! At last hear Bilbo’s tales of his many travels, visit the Mathom-house, and attend some garden festivals. Rejoice in the simple provincial lifestyle of the Hobbits, shielded by the vigilant watch of the Dúnedain.
• At long last Eriador will be brought to life, from Lindon the kingdom of Gil-galad to the Last Homely House in the East
• 5.X updates will see greater Arnor, Rivendell, Lindon, and Hobbit content
Realms 6.0
• “The road goes ever on and on…”
maybe i should try an orc guy. - i never even tried to see if we can.
I miss my bearded lady...
- my favourite quote from Rings of Power
That being said. a Side Note to eastlings, i been playing hours of eastlings, but a older version downloading new one now. can we slowly add more to the eastlings? light and dark? for example if i am of light and i manage to make a kingdom under the name of light and vow to take on the darkness, an event of the men of the west send letters or secret messengers to say congraduations or they hear rumors and are going to randomly offer assistance or request information of the east or even send another messenger of the dark pretending to be of the light just to get a chance to assassinate you. again i played a lower version it may be better now. it just seemed a little lacking in achivements made in the east if you can manage it. or if a eastling can overtake a rider can the dark not promote them rank for the conquest?
