1) I agree with, and in fact I already have a marriage alliance between them on my to-do list. I'll probably replace Hasteinn's lowborn Norse wife with Salamon's other daughter.
2) is a bit more complicated; you're correct that Welsh influence was non-existent by 1066, but the king of Scots had no influence there either. This is why in TIP (CK II) I had Mann and the Isles under a separate de jure kingdom of the Isles, and that's something I plan to re-add in a future update. Currently the Isles does exist but only as a titular kingdom.

Historically Zunbils ruled Zabulistan until 870 so at least some Zunist counties should be present

-Would it be possible to make the various Anglo-Saxon kingdoms be full kingdom-tier titles? This is the route that HIP took for CKII, and I quite liked it.
-This may be a long-shot, but would it be possible to create a new culture for Russia to represent pre-Christian elements. The major way I could see this as playing out would be in the names available, as it doesn't make sense for pagan Russians to use Christian or Greek names.
-I feel that the existence of a Scots culture in 1066 is anachronistic, since, as far I understand it, Scots developed alongside Middle English, being influenced strongly by the Normans. So, I feel that Anglo-Saxon culture should extend up into the Scots area.
-Lastly, I remember I found a way to edit the files to where Garcia of Galicia was properly numbered as the II. If you're interested in this small change, I could specify it more, but I also understand if you leave it out, since Garcia I was never the king of Galicia. It's kind of like how the various Alfonsos of Leon and Castile were still numbered after one another, even though they ruled different kingdoms. The numbering of monarchs is a bit hard to correct in this game.
1) Probably not, although I'll think about it. I've discussed this topic before with someone on the PDX forum, and although I can certainly understand some of the arguments I don't really agree with them. I don't really see the problem with representing the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms as petty kingdoms like they are now, and the point is to conquer your way across the country and form England (or do it via the Danelaw decision, which you can now).
2) This is possible, and I did actually revamp the pre-Russian sets (ported over from CK II but not yet used in CK III) a while ago, but as yet they're not added to the map. I did briefly consider this when I added Varangian culture, but it was yet another time-consuming distraction. I will probably do a revamp in Russia at some point, as I am not really a fan of there being a monolith Russian culture in 867.
3) You're correct here, and although Scotland has been improved in this regard since CK II, PDX have chosen an odd use of Scots culture. Ideally it would come about at the same time as England, yes, but this also means changing all the Dunkelds (and some other people) back to Gaelic, as they were in TIP 1, and updating the bookmark page accordingly. I may well do this at some point, although actually I quite like the Scots-Gaelic north-south divide and the fact that it's quite hard to expand as Scots culture and the northern Gaels dislike you. It's a weird compromise but I understand why they did it.
4) Sure, I'll take a look. I may have done this in TIP 1 but I can't quite remember. I do recall adding Sancho Ordenez as king of Asturias or Leon? I would probably have got round to this when I did a big Iberia revamp, but I just haven't got there quite yet. I've done some work on Navarre, but that's about it.
And I think with Galicia's monarch lists, you would need to add Garcia I to Asturias's ruler list, and then insert its title history in Galicia's file.
1. Rename a few areas. The county of Narva should be renamed Virumaa, that is the historical name of that area. The county of Tartu should be renamed Ugandi, this was the medieval name for southern Estonia. Also, I have no idea why PDX decided to name Saaremaa "Osel". My best guess is that the islands were under a Bishopric called "Osel" when the Teutonic order took over. Saaremaa is the correct name for that area.
2. Make Saaremaa independent at game start. Historically the people of Saaremaa have always been relatively independent from Estonia proper, they were perhaps the last place in Northern Europe to remain pagan all the way into the 14th-15th century. They were feared raiders and vikings in their own right. Also, Läänemaa county should be part of the Duke of Estonia's land at game start.
3. This isn't really a suggestion as much as a discussion point. See, in medieval Estonia there were 3 centers of power besides Saaremaa. Sakala in the southwest, Ugandi in the southeast, and Revala in the north. Now, if we were being completely accurate about this, the Estonia area should be split into three independent duchies. However, my only worry about this is that it would make this area both insanely difficult and vulnerable without any balance to the surrounding are. My preference would be for whenever the whole area can be changed that this would be included with it, rather than just one area being "balanced" and becoming incredibly weak against the unchanged surroundings (this would also make Novgorod even more broken than they currently are, which is unnecessary and detrimental to the area and the game at large).
Whenever I do any more research, I will probably be focusing on the Finno-Ugric religions because altho I know the Ukonusko block is BS I don't exactly know the details of what the different faiths would be. Thanks so much for all the hard work that went into this, it is an incredibly large improvement for my gameplay experience, especially in the Baltic area.
Tell me what you think to the Baltic changes.
It's certainly a possibility. I've already expanded the Norse split event with Icelandic, Norse-Gaelic and Varangian.
