sikh faith? I loved the sects and tenets and i appreciate its alot of effort to update the whooe mod, I would appreciate just that sole part if available. Heck id even paypal you for it :')
I hope you enjoy what's been added. It was certainly a lot of work.
I'd have to speak to someone who's done map modding.
I understand the issue with not wanting to roll back, it's just that the game is going in a direction which increasingly disinterests me, and I'm not willing to put the effort into an 1178 revamp, let alone expanding the map across Asia. Frankly, I think that should be a different game, and I think it will kill performance. They should probably rename the franchise at this point.
Anyway, this mod is here for those who want to play it, and I will continue to support it. I read all suggestions and have incorporated *a lot* of them in the upcoming update.
I've considered updating to Crown (and still might), but that'll be it.
Looking forward to the next release, man is it rough playing 12.5 after stuff like the crown patch lol
I'll test it later cause I'm testing a billion other things right now.
I already formed the Vandal kingdom as Haesteinn without knowing this mod exists.
Try the mod Wulþus Gutþiudō if you want to see Vandal culture.
In fact I'm testing to see if this is compatible with my modlist right now.
The current update (which is pretty big) will be out soon, maybe later today.
Good news and bad news.
The good news is that I am working on a big update that will be released soon, and it includes quite a lot of requested content. I've been through the bug forums (again) and the suggestion thread here, and also fixed some stuff and brought over some new content from vanilla.
The bad news is that from now on this mod will be exclusively for v1.12.5, which is a version of the game that I find stable and am relatively happy with. I did do 90% of the work for an update for version 1.14x (Roads to Power) but I kept running into new vanilla bugs, and frankly landless play is of no interest to me at all. Neither are nomad mechanics, nor doubling the map size to add Asia - which will inevitably bring a lot of performance issues as well.
So, this mod is still being actively worked on and new content is coming very soon, but it won't be for the live version of the game anymore.
Thanks, and feel free to leave any comments or suggestions as usual.
The next update (whenever it comes, assuming it does) will probably be for the newer patches.
I still play from time to time, and I don't really like the history setup in vanilla haha.
Thanks Bobby!
I don't have any other mods installed, and this only started happening after I updated the game, so it seems to me like the only possible cause.
Anyone else experiencing this, or is the problem on my end?
There are no shortage of other mods if you'd like to try something else.
Like, I want more historical accuracy, right? So I'll search the workshop for something like 'historical enhancements', I'm not gonna mentally time travel to the ck2 days and think, "Ah yes, I know what I'll do, I'll look up the TIP Deux, the sequel to the Toto Enhancement Project from Ck2, which doesn't even have a description beyond an oblique reference to tintin, or something.
Even though TIP2's description's somewhat better, the name's still not really memorable or evocative of what the mod actually does.
That was mostly an historical accuracy project, and the name derives from a friend's suggestion.
