Cadet branches
One of the things that needs doing over time is converting historical cadet branches over to actual in-game cadet branches, instead of just being normal houses that link to their parent houses. A primary example here would be the Herbertines, who were a cadet branch of the Karlings.

Whilst a number of cadet branches have already been added or carried over, many have not.

If you notice any dynasties which should be cadet branches then please post them here.

I'll give you an example of how cadet branches look in vanilla:

house_capet = { name = "dynn_Capet" dynasty = 743 #(Robertine) }

In this instance, Capet is the cadet branch, and they link to the senior Robertine dynasty, which has the dynasty ID of 743.

When posting your suggestions, please state the names of both the cadet branch *AND* the top (senior) dynasty they are connected to, as well as whether you're playing 867 or 1066; if you can provide dynasty IDs then that's great, but it's not necessary.

Going forward, I'll see how many more I can add/change.

One that's been bugging me since launch is Dulo and Krum. Dulo, However I must also note that unlie european dynsties these two have been seperated by a great distance so keeping them seperate may be better since it may cause issues considering ai(calling dynasty to war etc)

Salian should be a cadet of Guideschi. Guideschi is 7389

Removed the numbers as I'm not sure of them (took them from save file).

One example while at it, Salians should be Cadets of Guideschi

Seisyllwg(connects through Ceredigion which is a cadet house of Manaw Gododdin) should be a cadet of Manaw Gododdin

Samanids should be a cadet of Mihranids, along with Khosroviani, Guramiani (branched from Khosrovianis) and Mihranians (branched from Khosroviani).

Thanks, I'll see about doing some of these for the next patch. And yes, the Karlings have quite a few cadet branches, including the Herbertians and House of Chiny.

There are a few ones, either Georgian or Armenian(perhaps both?) I've noticed yesterday but forgot to mention them and now I can't remember who they were.

Through my earlier suggestions and stuff that I've found (like Komit title being reserved for members of the ruling family), Kometopuli should perhaps be added as cadets of Krum.

There are a whole lot of cadetship going on with the Arab tribes(Like Marwanids I mentioned in the suggestions) as a whole and I plan to suggest many of them in the future but for now, Umayyad family should be a cadets of Hashimids.

Can't give dynasty numbers(don't have time to check the correct one in case of more than one dynasty with same name) right now but having mentioned Umayyads, Rassid, Ukhaidrid, Idrisid, Fatimid, Hanafid and Abbasid all belong to Hashimids. Hashimids themselves belong to tribe of Quraysh which has several branches/subtribes.

Yes, the Georgian Bagrats should probably be a cadet branch of the senior Armenian dynasty. I'll probably do that.

Pahlavuni dynasty descends from Kamsarakan. Kamsarakan and Karenid dynasties descend from Karen-Pahlav. Karen-Pahlav descends from Arascid. Of these Pahlavuni and Karenid dynasties are still alive at 867 start.

Ah those weren't the ones on my mind but I think they had several cadets as well unless I'm mistaking them with another prominent dynasty in 1066 start.
