Creature Info
Note: The changes listed in here will only affect new creatures! destroy wild dinos in your world to make them spawn! Old tames won't be affected by the changes.

-- Basilisk --
- Now Breedable
- Now Immune to radiation
- Immune to liquid element and can swim in it. While riding a basilisk, you will be granted immunity to liquid element too!
- Left Ctrl is now a "Torpor bite" attack that does little damage but deals an extreme amount of torpidity. Great for knocking small and medium creatures out, and humans too.
- Doesn't take fall damage
- Swims much faster and turns a bit faster in place
- Tamed Basilisks now produce a new resource, Basilisk poison, when left to wander.
- C roar is now a proper roar instead of a hiss.

-- Karkinos --
- Immune to bleed
- Breedable in water
- Lft Ctrl key is now a cosmetic roar/taunt

-- Glowbug --
- Now drops a new resource, Glow Paste, when killed.
- Tamed via fish basket.

-- Rockdrake --
- Greatly increased Rock drake's color palette
- Can now breed! However, they need to consume reaper pheromone glands to be able to breed. If they do not have the buff, they can't breed.
- Doesn't consume stamina when climbing
- Gliding now consumes less stamina
- Left Ctrl key is now a cosmetic roar
- All of its attacks do x1.5 damage to reapers and nameless

-- Aberrant Megalania --
- New creature, spawns in the Fertile chamber
- Its saddle can be learnt at lvl 28, making it fairly early game
- Bite base damage changed from 12 to 25
- Claw attack base damage changed from 16 to 30
- Now moves slightly faster
- Now properly attacks wild creatures

-- Rollrat --
- Rolling now consumes less stamina

-- Ravager --
- Claw attack now does a bleed that doesn't slow creatures down. Both tamed and wild.
- Removed the bleed for the bite attack
- Both attacks do 35 damage as opposed to 25
- Ravagers are 15% faster now
- Alpha pack member has less damage multiplier due to the increase in base melee damage.

-- Aberrant Dilophosaurus --
- The spit does radiation damage as opposed to blinding venom! The spit is also purple.
- Comes in a very wide variety of colors, these will be reduced in the future.

-- Aberrant Diplodocus --
- Left click is now a small stomp that does 28 damage, but can be used while moving.
- Right click is a tail swipe that does 38 damage.
- C is the nudge, can be used while moving, can collect berries.
- Saddle only has the rider seat, but it is much cheaper than a regular Diplodocus saddle.
- Color palette is the much superior paracer's color palette.

-- Aberrant Velonasaur --
- Basically a pre-nerf velonasaur.
- Can run slightly faster
- Has a saddle engram that can be learnt in aberration.

-- Aberrant Therizinosaur --
- Same as vanilla, has aberrant glowing pattern.

-- Aberrant Deinonychus --
- Slightly larger than vanilla deinonychus
- 250 base health, as opposed to 200.
- 250 base weight, as opposed to 140.
- Knockout tame (Uses basilosaurus taming rates and food for extra difficulty!)
- Immune to radiation

-- CHRISTMAS SPECIAL - SANTA REAPER --
- Cannot be tamed, but can be ridden and controlled. Can craft presents in its inventory!
- Only available attack is its roar, press Ctrl to activate it.

-- CHRISTMAS SPECIAL - KRAMPUS SEEKER --
- Cannot be tamed, cannot be controlled. Evil spirits that travel in packs and want to destroy christmas.
- Has a chance to drop its antlers when killed, can be used to craft presents in santa reaper's inventory.
- Very strong, be careful.

-- Grave Tyrant --
- The grave tyrant is the apex predator of the fertile chamber. There's two versions; the adult, untameable ones and the younglings. Young grave tyrants are tameable, adult ones are not. They are minibosses.
- Adults drop a random assortment of gear when killed.
- When tamed, grave tyrants produce crystal and ascerbic muchrooms in their inventory - This is due to their lore, crystal and mushroom grow on their skeletal armor as they age. However, if you remove the crystal and the mushrooms from their inventory, they will disappear until there's enough crystal and mushrooms in their inventory.
- Taming is a difficult process. Once fed, all nearby wild creatures will rush to kill the baby grave tyrant. If you sucessfully defend it, you will receive a buff, "Grave Tyrant's friend", which will make the baby not flee from you. Rinse and repeat the process until it's tamed!
- Slower than a rex, but much bulkier; They have a 50% damage reduction, both boss and tameable ones.
- Slightly stronger than rex - higher base health, higher base damage - but more difficult to tame, and slower.

-- Ferobufo --
- The Ferobufo is a large amphibian found in the element chamber. These creatures are slightly territorial, but they naturally prey on nameless. They are no match for reapers, though.
- Passively tamed with Nameless Venom and Preserved Nameless Venom. Upon feeding, the Ferobufo's adrenaline will start quickly pumping and it will become much stronger and more aggressive. Be really careful around an enraged Ferobufo.
- They lay their eggs in rocks - lore wise this is due to the lack of water in the Element chamber, so they store their eggs inside rocks to protect them.
- Ferobufos have great buoyancy and never sink in water - they aren't affected by liquid element either.

-- Seeker --
- Seeker can be tamed by using Angler Repellant to make you invisible to them, and then passively feeding them with Glow Paste.
- They are rideable! They're quite trashy flyers, but still flyers.
- Rider stamina will slowly deplete. When your stamina hits 0, you will dismount and fall to your doom! Make sure to take a break before that happens...

would killing a glowbug and harversting its body with a frog give extra cementing paste?

lol thank you so much man! It really took some time and effort to pull off this creature, but I'm really happy with how it turned out too! :D

I'm thinking about adding this to my Ab server, as I've really been wanting an aberrant Deinon, but a lot of other mods add TONS of new creatures and I want to keep a vanilla-ish feel.

The only thing keeping me at the moment is the Christmas Special dinos. I absolutely hate events in ark due to the color range it gives dinos. If I have the Christmas event disabled, will their spawns also be disabled? Or is there an .ini I can use to disable them manually?

The mod seems really interesting, especially with the miniboss and I'd love to use it.
Thank you!

You can manually disable those in the INI configs of your server. Besides, the christmas specials will be disabled in a few days, once winter wonderland is over. Thank you for your kind words too!

How would I go about doing that? Is this right? I couldn't find an .ini discussion

SantaReaperSpawn=false
KrampusSeekerSpawn-false

@Th3DocCroc nah, that wouldn't work. Add this to your game.ini file:

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Pteroteuthis_Character_BP_Krampus_ABB_C",ToClassName="")

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Santareaper_Character_BP_ABB_C",ToClassName="")
