the officers that distrust himmler will invite him to a meeting. There is a chance that himmler is killed and when you win the GCW or during the GCW you can select a new figure to be put into power. Himmler has more content though, so I would opt to keep him

Usually in the game, when something happens with chance, no matter what, it will always pick that option for the current game. For picking a different option, you just start a entirely new game.
