Varia Addons Bugs

I'm getting some strange behavior with the new buff spells. Whenever you add them to a multicast with a projectile, e.g.

Double Spell > Buff > Spark Bolt

it applies the buff to both you and whatever the projectile hits, acting like a modifier. After digging into the .lua files, I think I know what's causing it, but I won't spill the beans here in case it's intentional. Feel free to DM me about it if you want

@LoMoCoMo That's a good catch! The buff spells aren't supposed to apply their effects to anyone except the player, so if you know what's causing, me, please do let me know. So glad you're enjoying the mod though!

It seems to do with using
c.game_effect_entities
in the action function. It applies the effect to every projectile in the spell block being cast. Freeze Charge uses the same script and it has the same effect. Unfortunately I'm new to modding and I can't seem to find an alternative, but I'm sure there has to be some kind of workaround.

@LoMoCoMo Ah, that makes sense! That might be a quirk of the base game itself. Not sure what I can do about that, but I'll have to see.

UPDATE: The bug with the buff spells is fixed!

As of 1.0 gold is picked up as a blank spell. May be inaction with other mods enabled, I'll have to do some testing

@It's Dingle, That's a very strange bug, but I haven't seen anything like it on my end. Can you try and test just Varia Addons on it's own to see?

I seem to be getting your dev spell modifiers enabled and mixed in with all the others currently. I got a damage +1000 modifier in my run and was pretty disgusted by it's cheatiness haha

@SpazProjects Seems to be working just fine now (gold is picked up as gold now), I'm not sure what was going on but if it happens again I'll make a copy of the save to see if it can be reproduced.

@Shapeshifters? Really? That's very odd. There should be parameters set in place to prevent those spells from spawning. They must have also broke from the 1.0 update. I'll look into it. Can you elaborate further on where you found the spell? (Wand, chest, shop, ect)

@Shapeshifters, that's unusual. I'll take a look in that case. Do you have any other mods installed that might be affecting the shops, or changing the game?

When picking up the shovel in the tunnel directly right of spawn, no matter which free slot I pick it goes to the next free one, so if 1&2 are taken up and I choose slot 4, it'll still goto 3 and i have to move it.
