New Idea Groups
I'm going to rewrite this first post, because I might as well. This forum is for posting new idea groups that shall then be added into the mod. Examples of how to structure an idea set may be found throughout the pages of this forum, but generally speaking the idea groups that appear on later pages are better than those on earlier pages.

Each idea group consists of three sections. The first section includes the title of each of the ideas, followed by the effects of that idea. There should be seven in total. The second section includes the identifiers for the different ideas, followed by the description of each idea on the next line. This section is the only part of the idea designed to be copied directly into the mod files. If there is a chance that the same identifier may be used in multiple idea sets, for example with something generic like vast_country (lots of countries are vast) then please add the country unique identifier at the end of that idea. For example, vast_country_australia. The third and final section of any idea group is the tag/s of the nation/s that will receive the idea group. This just makes it a little quicker to add the idea set into the mod because I don't have to comb through mod files looking for tags while I add idea sets.

You will notice that there is a post by me around the forum containing a list of countries that don't have ideas. This list is not complete, and you may feel free to create ideas groups for nations regardless of whether that nation appears on the list or not, as long as that nation doesn't already have a non-generic idea set, of course.

Finally, any idea sets posted will not be added to the mod straight away, only to an internal version. When the mod is going to be updated, I post my internal version on these forums so that it can be added into the mod.

Those ideas look great. It would be a great help if you could also include the descriptions for each idea as writing them is perhaps the most time-consuming part of ideamaking.

Note that all the national ideas usually get unlocked before 1820, so you should avoid too modern ideas. For nations that didn't exist before the 1900s a bit more modern ideas are OK, but try avoiding things like nuclear or hydro-electric power.

New Zealand gained independence in 1947, Zambia gained independence in 1964. Don't worry, I'm being careful to ensure that countries only gain ideas at times they could gain them. I'll try my best in the future to stay clear of too modern things nonetheless however.

In the current version of the mod it's not yet possible for most of the modern countries to appear from earlier start dates. In future updates, however, it will become possible for these countries to appear earlier than they did in real history.

Very well, I won't create any other ideas with hydro-electric etc and I've replaced those in New Zealand and Zambia.
