Space Program
so the space program is a thing, and I once used it just because I could
and nothing happened with it im pretty sure so is it juist a late game thing just to spend like 10k on it and stuff or is there actual events that can happen with it such as bringing a bunch of material on earth and the price of X is reduced or Iron ore mines are 10% less profitable globally for the next 10 years but you get likke X in gold or what?

If it's just the Space Program decision that you saw, then you might've missed the other decisions that pop up afterwards. There's stuff such as a Space Station, Moon Colony and a Mars Colony that you can build via the new decisions after picking the Space Program one in order to get yourself some buffs; do keep in mind that it does take some time for the events that come with these other decisions to fire, so a bit of patience is required.

From what I remember it takes like, 10 or so years between events, maybe less but it takes a while for an event to pop up.
