I've recently started playing some EU4 again and decided to do Landshut + Dortmund co-op multiplayer to chill and Spain didn't go exploration ideas? They weren't puppeted by anyone they just... didn't. I didn't find anything about it on Paradox Forum so I thought it may be linked with this mod. The whole New World was colonized by Portugal and England. Spain did a huge comeback though because they were revolution target.

And that brings me to other two questions: Shouldn't revolution target dissapear with Industrial age like centres of reformation does when the world enters absolutism? And what are the exact "distinct features" of newer eras (like with the barbarian invasions or the centres of reformation)?
