So i would start right away :)

First of all @xhexenlordx: I like your mod very much! It's likely a must-have for PvE-Players in my opinion. If this is against your mind, so please tell me or delete the whole topic right away.

So here is my suggestion for your Mod:

I would really enjoy if you could add an individual .ini-Setting for every Tier for all the settings we have right now. So Admins can set TierKills, StatMultiplier, RankUpEffect and AuraSize for every Tier.
And please uncap or dramatically increase the Max. TierKills as well.

sincerely.

I'm considering Tier-based settings right now, but they could very confusing for most.
I'll work on finding a way to make it possible to change the settings without use of INI configs, as right now I'm adding a UI system for the mod that will let you configure some options in-game. The next version gets a leaderboard that displays all dinos will a kill counter in order from most kills to least, so more UI options are to come.

Good recommendation on TierKills, I'll remove the cap on the maximum so you can set it to whatever number you would like. The minimum will remain 50 kills.

A way to remap the counter toggle key, perhaps in the GUS.INI, would be much appreciated. Frankly I wish all mods that use hot-keys allowed for that...

Its on my to-do list, but its also a tremendous amount of work. I'll likely only do it for F1 - F12, but I'll have to remove the Shift requirement. I was going to do it for the leaderboard open/close until I realized that I had to map out every single keyboard button individually.
Another suggestion wich came me up last night: a custom icon wich shows the kill counter when hovered over with the mouse or by pressing "H"-key. (Much like the imprint-buff icon)
It could even change/evolve the color/appereance with the actual Tier.

(I know this is all hard and much work; please take this as inspiration not as a "must-be-done")
:winter2019happyyul:

Edit: This would even make the toggle-key no longer needed, wich is something you were up to if i got you right?! :)

Sincerely

Really enjoying this mod so far! Only suggestion I have to wild dinos getting ranks is having it on either aggressive dinos only (might break compatibility issues with modded dinos) since I sometimes see it on a dino like a parasaur who generally won't attack me to begin with since they are passive. Or, if possible make it so they become aggressive when they have a rank so they'll start to attack other things & become a threat if the mod picks out a passive type dino.

Having it on passive dinos won't break mod compatibility. I left it on them because killing them will still reward EXP/Drops (in 3.0). I can change the AI for herbivores that are ranked to be like a dire bear, that isn't aggressive until given a reason to be, but that could conflict with custom dinos and custom AIs.

In 3.0, torpor will increase on tamed dinos that are ranked, but not wild dinos, so it won't effect taming them. They will still take just as much effort to knock out, while making it less likely to kill them doing so. They will all lose their ranking when tamed, though.

Ah okay, sounds better than what I had in mind. I forgot about them not being tameable neither in 2.9 when writing the suggestion :D: technically not necessary making them aggressive then if they're still tamable still at least.

can we have a ini with blacklisted creature who we don't want to see as ranked in wild ?
HexenLord  [developer] Aug 24, 2020 @ 11:15am
Blacklist being added for both wild Ranked and Destroyers in 3.2 releasing next week.

Would having an ini config that would make certain dinos harder to rank up be hard? Like having it take more kills for certain dino classes than others. Some dinos get kills much easier than others, and with mods like, it's stupidly easy to get 250/500 kills with one dino but with another it would take a pretty nice grind
HexenLord  [developer] Oct 6, 2020 @ 2:08pm
I'm adding INI options for up to 5 different ranking systems. You'll be able to pick which dinos go into which ranking system, and how many kills and what stat bonus they'll get.
Bumpkin Oct 31, 2020 @ 4:20pm
This sense of progression is very nice as it actually feels more fun to level up in your tier system than the actual games levels. Your mod has added a new layer of ARK grind that feels fun to accomplish. I would suggest in vague terms anything that could extend the depth of progression. Perhaps optional ini settings for even more tiers. Even as far as specific dino types granting new buffs inside certain tiers. "Kill 100 Rexs as Epic tier and get *cool ability*"

Any news on this UI Tier individual settings? I just came here to say that this mode is awesome, although I'd like an uncap on WildRanked spwns too, 1 in 100 is a bit too much imho!
Love the work, love the "progression" sensation this gives.

First of all, congratulations on the incredible mod. I would like to suggest an option for all stats to be increased and not only health resistance and damage.
