I may be nitpicking, but the map is a bit wonky:

Many cities are misplaced (Pittsburgh, PA being mapped out too far north on the wrong side of the river being the worst).

There are huge game breaking population inaccuracies (21 million people in NYC is more than the population of all NY state in 2022 and makes NY overpowered).

There are some unnamed points in random locations (one in northern VT for example, another in central CO).

NY state is severely lacking in cities represented upstate.

Altoona, PA is duplicated in two different neighboring tiles.

For some reason the Soviets control Attu Island when it is part of Alaska's island chain, it should be Alaskan core territory.

The values of most cities are just too high for some reason (sorry but Reno, NV should not be worth 20 points. 5 would be generous enough).

This may be my opinion, but really the pacific islands and the Panama canal should be part of HI and Panama respectfully.
