Lackawanna Cutoff

Thinking of adding VNHRR as an asset
Looking into the future of the route as I goes west into PA, I have realized the need for round house assets as well as large brick industry that would be required for future extensions of the route after it reaches Stroudsburg. This would include the yards at Scranton and a remaking of Hoboken to show it as it was in the 1950's. The main candidate asset to use for this would be VNHRR New Haven to Springfeild route. I'm wondering how common of a route this is to have as I am not looking to alienate a large percentage of the people that use the Lackawanna Cutoff. Additionally, does anyone have any potential other assets that could be added as a substitute that more people would have available to them? Looking forward to your feedback.

I would do Scranton to Hoboken as a separate route and use VNHRR just about exclusively.
If your thinking Lackawanna in the 50s, that's the way to go.

Thanks for the advice, Minerman. After lots of research into the idea I have decided to do exactly that, with the line going over the Boonton Branch.
