Using the simple sidearms support makes my fps tank horribly when right clicking on things. ...... But I am also using over 240 mods. :V

There's a small issue with monosword and plasma sword hunting -- a colonist will only use the blunt attack.

Hey mate, great patch.
I've found it annoying how pawns will wander away mid-combat,
& have added prefixes to skip
RimWorld.JobDriver_Hunt.<MakeNewToils>b__12_2
RimWorld.JobDriver_Hunt.<MakeNewToils>b__12_4
Verse.AI.Pawn_JobTracker.CheckForJobOverride
for melee hunting pawns.
I'm new to modding, & this feels pretty sketchy, so if you know a better way to fix that, please let me know

My mod does not change the way the job works, only the check to see if a pawn can do the job at all (specifically if they have a hunting weapon). So from a technically perspective, I only extend the list of items the game considers valid for a hunter, the rest is all kept vanilla.

So neither do I modify the behavior of the pawns or the Job itself. This is mainly to keep the mod streamlined and compatible. Any changes to how pawns use weapons, or the way jobs are handled I consider outside of the scope unless the problem is considerable.

The JobOverride should also happen for non-melee pawns, but there might be some special thing in the JobDriver that does not use the same vanilla method that I modify. I'm going to check that.

So my naked, club-wielding pawn has self-healing enabled. And I guess since healing was prioritized more than hunting, he actually starting self-tending his wounds in the middle of a fight with a rabbit. That rabbit had a field day biting every inch of the pawn before I noticed what was happening. I understand that keeping the scope small and the mod simple can be nice, but this is a game-breaking bug. Unfortunately I know nothing about modding so i can't offer a technical solution. But somehow, we need to make sure pawns defend themself when a melee-hunted animal fights back.

Your link is removed, I recommend using the HugsLib error log and a PrintScreen of the error log and situation in the game. You can use Imgur to upload pictures. Also, do you know, what is the other job with the same priority?

Look at your PrintScreen again. There is a green button I need you to click on. Every time you want help with anything in the game, always start with three links:

- HugsLib error log
- Printscreen of the error log
- (optional) PrintScreen of the situation in the game.
