Workaround for having normal Zeus alongside a Blindzeus
I built a mission that has a Blindzeus working as redfor against a team of players and a normal Zeus to work as an admin role. I got the Blindzeus to work whenever the module was down, but it affects my normal Zeus too. I think the Blindzeus module will blind any Zeus unit it finds even if it isn't the specified one in the Blindzeus module.

The solution I found was to have both the normal Zeus and the Blindzeus load in simultaneously (an AI player was in one Zeus role while I filled the other). This shouldn't be a problem in a live server when all players load in at once, but I haven't tested it with other players yet.

Can you share your mission please? Where did you test. Dedi or hosted MP or editor?

The thing is, if you first go in to a blindzeus slot and then go assign yourself a normal zeus module, the scripts that make you blind are still running. You cannot go blind and then go unblind unless you start the mission again.

Sure, no problem. I tested it on a locally hosted LAN session.

To recreate the bug: Launch mission as multiplayer, then disable AI, then select the Game Master role. There should be an error message that appears, and you should be a Blindzeus instead of a normal Zeus.
Workaround: Launch mission as multiplayer, then leave AI enabled, then select the Game Master role. You should now be a normal Zeus.
