Problems with Harmony? Here are some solutions!
Network Extensions 2"

In the past issues occurred with Network Extensions 2. These issues have been fixed.

Users who used my custom version of NExt 2 can return to the workshop version.

Conflicting Harmony 2 provider mod
You can only use one Harmony provider mod at the same time.
Make sure you are not subscribed to "Harmony (redesigned)", an alternative provider mod that is known to cause issues.

Experimental Channel
You can unsubscribe the Harmony mod and subscribe to the experimental channel instead. The experimental version might contain additional fixes that are not yet available on the stable channel:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2399204842

Local mods
if you have any mods installed in your local AppData directory, please make sure that they are up to date! I recommend to use the workshop versions whenever possible!

Further support
If there are still errors once you've tried everything above, please upload your output_log.txt and post it here.

Windows: <SteamFolder>\SteamApps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\output_log.txt

Mac: Users/<username>/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Colossal Order/Cities: Skylines/Player.log

Tip: To open the game install folder, right click your game in the Steam library, select Properties, go to the Local Files tab and select Browse local files.

"Technical Advice" from other people
Solutions given to you by other people are probably outdated, wrong or incomplete. If they work for you, that's great, but usually they only work randomly.

You can ask in this thread if those other solutions are feasible or not. I advice you to try the solutions above first.

Harmonylib.Harmony Error
Getting the following error when starting any map with mods active. Not enough info to know exactly what's causing the error. Any help would be appreciated.

Yep "Harmony 2.0.4" is a Broken Update!(Backup 2.0.1 Here)
When run game to the main menu will show you, and lots of mod in fact don't patched by Harmony 2.0.4.

"A Mod caused an error [ModException]

Details:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at OptionsMainPanel.AddUserMods () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The loading time with same number of mods got huge difference. (182 mods)

With Harmony 2.0.1.0 version, reading to jump to game need 39 second to see the logo and to main menu total 59 second.

With Harmony 2.0.4 version, reading to jump to game only need 16 second to see the logo and to main menu total 40 second. And got main menu error above.

The difference show you long time means pacthing all of mods, and short time means a few to pach.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, for palyers you need to rolling back to Harmony 2.0.1.0 before next fixed out.
Here is backup of Harmony 2.0.1.0 you can download. If "zippyshare" link not work for you, try "Sendspace" link.

https://www39.zippyshare.com/v/ohIE36Wy/file.html

https://www.sendspace.com/file/uji3qu

How to put in local ?
1. Unsubscribe 2.0.4 from workshop.
2. Unzipp "Harmony2" folder to C:\Users\ <your name> \AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods

as a temporary fix, I advice you to install the Harmony mod locally in your AppData mods folder.

Here are the instructions: https://github.com/boformer/CitiesHarmony/releases
