Harmony 2.2.2-0 (Mod Dependency)

Description

This is a dependency for various other mods.

It provides Andreas Pardeike's Harmony patching library[github.com] (version 2.2.2) to all mods that require it.

It also hotpatches older Harmony versions (1.2.0.1 and 1.1.0.0) and adds limited cross-compatibility for Harmony 1.0.9.1. All of those versions are still used by various mods. The patching is necessary because Harmony 1.x is incompatible with 2.x.

This workshop item will be updated to the latest stable Harmony 2.x version in periodic intervals.

Why did this mod suddenly appear in my content manager?
Some mods might force an automatic subscription to this mod. It is safe to assume that this mod is required by some other mod you have installed.

Do I have to enable it in content manager?
It doesn't matter. Other mods will use the files provided by this mod, no matter if it is enabled for not.

Mods that are incompatible with this mod
  • Other mods that provide Harmony 2 (such as Harmony Experimental or "Harmony (redesigned)")

@BierPizzaChips No, this mod is just a CIL patching library. It deals directly with CIL JIT compilation and doesn't deal with the game itself in any way. It has no performance impact. Any perfomance issues would lie elsewhere (and the game hasn't had any performance slowdown n that time, so I suspect your issue might lie elsewhere in your system).

Any chance that this mod requires an urgent update due to the changes done to the game by CO in the last two years?

Playing with mods and about 3000 assets gave me 30 FPS two years ago, which is good enough for gaming.
But these days - even with a newer GPU - it is about 17-20 FPS with just the most essential mods and as good as no assets. If i subscribe 3000 assets, it's down to 7 FPS.
As an example using only and exclusively the Loading Screen Mod with 3000 assets reduces the FPS already from about 60 to about 42 FPS - something i have never seen two years ago.

@algernon I removed public transport 2 and it seems to have helped

@rob.nordli Nobody can say unless you provide details, such as exactly what message you're getting.

what is happening with this mod, when I start my game its telling me Harmony is broken and a lot of my mods can*t be used. It worked well 12 hours ago, but when I started the game now I got the error.

@J0hnsy What is "it"? As in, which thing EXACTLY is saying that? What is the full text of the message? Without that detail, it's impossible to know which mod is having problems (it's not this one, as this one doesn't display messages saying that it's not installed, obviously).
