Translations
EDIT - PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANY MORE TRANSLATIONS FOR RIGHT NOW. THE CONTENT IS STILL NOT FINALIZED AND ABILITIES ARE STILL BEING CHANGED. I WILL UPDATE AND LET YOU KNOW WHEN I AM ACCEPTING TRANSLATIONS AGAIN.

Translation instructions:

1. Locate the mod folder. This can be found:

C: --> Program Files (x86) --> Steam --> steamapps --> workshop --> content --> 289070 --> 2036753727.

2. Open the Core folder.

3. Each text file is located in the Base, DLC, Global, XP1, and XP2 folders as the "Localisation" file. So, there are 5 Localisation files total.

4. Open each Localisation file. Notepad works, but I recommend Notepad++ for editing these files. It is free; Google it.

5. Find + Replace all 'en_US' with the language code for your language:

German: de_DE
Spanish: es_ES
French: fr_FR
Italian: it_IT
Japanese: ja_JP
Korean: ko_KR
Polish: pl_PL
Portuguese: pt_BR
Russian: ru_RU
Chinese: zh_Hans_CN and zh_Hant_hK.

6. Translate the text. Do NOT change the tags, which all begin with "LOC_" and are in all capital letters. Leave those alone.

7. Go to www.pastebin.com and paste your text.

8. Send me the pastebin link.

I finished the first two files yesterday and did a quick test-run. The translated text for the base file worked perfectly fine but the text from the DLC file did not show up. The mod has been updated several times when I first grabbed the files two days ago. So that might be the reason. Anyway, please let me know if you see something weird and I will do the required adjustments.

Thanks Stevie! I'll get it included with the update tonight. Please note two that I reworked Germany's Civ UA so make sure your translation aligns with the new ability description.

so please use these ones when you implement the translation.

I also noted the following (dont know if its due to the translation or just a bug, so I just post it here):
1. The Leader ability description of Lautaro is not displayed as text. There is just a placeholder named Trait_P0K_LAUTARO_ABILITY_DESCRIPTION. I tried to find out what might be the reason, checked the files but everything seems normal. Maybe you know whats the reson.
2. The CX_DLC_Localisation file does not seem to work since the text is not displayed anywere for all Civs from this file (only the vanilla text) - didnt figure out the reason for that.
3. When playing as Canada I noticed that I was supposed to be given a food adjacency bonus from forests when placing an industrial zone. There was also a text placeholder showing up.

Hey Stevie, I'll investigate what you posted in a little bit.

So my latest update changed a bunch of abilities. I can give you the full list later today, because on ability still may be pending a change.

Once I give you that list, I'm going to ask you to re-translate those. It should just be 4 or 5 civs. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but some issues were found that necessitated changing the abilities.

As for everyone else working on a translation, please sit tight. I'll let you know when content should be relatively locked in later today.

Can you already give me an update what I have to replace in my translation? Or do I just rewrite everything which has been adjusted by you in every faction on last weekend?
Could you also have a look in the DLC file and why it was not showing up as text?

@wizel - Thank you, but unfortunately I'm going to need you to redo some of your work. I am updating the mod with more changes to abilities. I'll let you know exactly what has changed when the update is live.

@Stevie - My next update is adding further changes. I anticipate this to be the last time I update existing abilities. I knew I was going to do this with the last update, which is why I had not asked you yet. As soon as I get this update out, I'll let you know exactly what has changed.

The update is live, but I may change one final thing in the next day or so. I will post a final list of changed civs that need retranslation tomorrow!
