I/0 Output question
Does the output give you access to only one item? Or can you access all the items selected in the "storage" tab?

@Bunuffin
The standard IO Port provides access to the item that is on top of it.
Pawns may request any stored item using an advanced IO Port.

Ok ok... Because those ports are quite expensive >~<

Gonna make advanced then, thanks

Okay i have a similar question. i Have a workshop with all where pawns make everything from hats no charge rifles. all my materials are in a DSU cant remember the name and i've the workshop with advanced I/O ports, which are linked with the DSU but they don't pull materials from them and ive placed a bunch of them. they go all the way back to DSU which is really far away. what am i doing wrong?

Figured it out, doesn't work with Easy Upgrades' "Attempt to increase the quality of item" job.

i don't understand how to make the advanced io port let my pawns access anything, i can't select an item source for it

Same. But it seems this issue isn't being addressed or acknowledged. And good luck finding tutorials or guides for this part of the mod. :(

The advanced ports don't work for crafting only for building/equipment/food etc.
if you want crafting you need to put normal ports with the specific item

The Advanced IO Ports can only connect to the DSU (due to Technical issues the ASU is currently not supported by the Advanced Port).
It should support any Vanilla Pawn Activity (including crafting).
If you run into any issue please make a Bug Report. For more details on how to do so please check https://github.com/zymex22/Project-RimFactory-Revived/wiki/How-to-Report#bug-reports

Heh... My pawns never used advanced ports to craft, they always walked to the storage to grab stuff... strange.

Same. Pawns ignore advanced ports and move to the storage unit.

Are I/O pushers the only way for my colonists to get items from an archive storage unit? I'm trying to get my pawns to prioritize a build, but it will say that there are missing items. But I see that there are some in the archive storage unit. I even have I/O ports configured to output and the archive storage unit. Right now, I have to drop the items from the archive storage unit or use an I/O pusher to spawn the item.
Same issue. Advanced I/O port doesn't work? Pawns walks to DSU to grab stuff. Any fix?
