As New Zealand, I turn nationalist, spark a civil war in persia and befriend the rebels. Everything's going fine and i justify a reason to go to war with Oman. The day the war goal justification is complete, the game crashes and the paradox crash reporter opens. I try again and manage to declare war, but during the naval invasion it keeps happening.

This crash is extremely irritating because the steam launcher thinks the game is still running, so I have to log out of steam to fire it back up again only for it to crash once more.
Yes I'm running 1.8.2 as recommended so why is this happening?
