Ragnarok Magmasaur Feedback
Im starting this thread as I dont see any talking about the required feedback for this feature, and me running Ragnarok with this mod I hope I can help the dev team to improve this feature

July 28: I have found Magmasaur nests with actual eggs but the zone where they are its like a tunnel its empty theres no Magmasaurs closer, Magmasaur are spawning on top of the tunnel(outside) or around not really as near as you see wyverns aroudn their nests, so its easy just go flying and take the egg with no rush; Im clearing the zone and waiting for them to respawn and see if that changes it

Thanks for making a thread. I'll set up some temporary spots tomorrow.

Originally planned to have a map extension add some spawners but I guess the spots will be needed anyway for players who wouldn't want to install the extension. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to cook an extension.

adding just the spawners wont do it? its really needed to be an extension?

It's not possible to add a full non-custom spawner from a game mod, unfortunately. There's also no DSE that would be used in the scar areas.

Perhaps I could make a custom spawner BP, but it might have bugs.

Edit: Made something that might work. I'll add them to Ragnarok as a test tomorrow.

Update is up. Remember to switch EnableCustomSpawners to true. Spawners were added to the wyvern trench on Ragnarok.

@Alex it really made what I was thinking, now theres Magmasaurs close to their nests and not as much scatered around, still I only have found 3 nests,can you tell me the locations of all of the others nests? even with cords or Screenshots? so I can take a look at them? I checked the Interactive map posted but only found those 3 lol

Nests aren't spawned in immediately - they're managed by the Magmasaurs itself and that's how WC made them. There's a list of potential spots - that's what's displayed on the map. Magmas always prefer the closest nest within a kilometer from their location, and they'll take some time to spawn the nest.

Its great the last update you made really improved the way nests behave, theres more challenging on getting eggs and the spots dont feel so empty

How the Magmasaur spawn behave? I have seen quite a lot I even made a killwilddinos after I came back it seems that was normal lol, did they previous spawns of the experimental feature would have doubled the spawners? or its normal?

Each custom spawner will spawn a single Magmasaur every 50 seconds and get capped at 2 to 3 Magmasaurs. In my tests the game prevented spawns that were too far away from the player.
