It absolutely sounds like there’s a conflict with the 02_scripted_triggers_warrior_lodges.txt file.

You say you are sure none of your mods are causing issues, but have you tested this via the process of elimination?

If you haven’t done it yet, you definitely should. Disable every other mod no matter how insignificant, while you only leave Warrior Societies active.

See if you have any other decisions available after you’ve loaded up your game. As the Grand Master of the society you should have decisions like Legendary Gathering, War Sacrifice and Summon Lodge Commander available in the decisions section in the intrigue tab for example.

Please report back to me when you have done this.

I’m glad I could help you figure it out! :)
There’s actually already a list of all the vanilla files my mod alters on the Steam Workshop page.

"The following vanilla files are altered in this mod:
00_scripted_effects.txt
02_scripted_triggers_warrior_lodges.txt
hf_warrior_lodge_decisions.txt
HF_battle_events.txt
hf_warrior_lodge_events.txt
HF_warrior_lodge_feast_events
HF_warrior_lodge_powers_events.txt
HF_warrior_lodges_hunting_events.txt
imprisoned_events.txt
04_customizable_localisation_warrior_lodges.txt"

Also, a piece of modding advice: You definitely should avoid using vanilla files in your mod when possible, especially if you haven’t actually changed anything in the file. As you have noticed, it is likely to cause issues with other mods if they are using the same files.

I’m currently working on severely reducing the number of vanilla files I’m using in my mod, by using https://ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Modding#Game_structure as an guide. Though, CK2 is annoyingly very inconsistent in how it behaves while merging code.

Abilities dont seem to work for Christian Warrior society, namely call to glory, change power etc
Dunno why. I dont have any other society mods

Because the Hellenic Society/Germanic Pagan society has no problems, all works fine

What do you mean when you say the abilties don't work? Does nothing happens when you use an ability?

They dont even show to use, i was grandmaster of the order and there was nowhere an option to use any ability
kurthakon  [udvikler] 25. mar. 2020 kl. 16:16
If that is the case, then it's almost certainly due to a conflict with another mod. Most likely with the “02_scripted_triggers_warrior_lodges.txt” file just like the issue KillerX5 had.
Balthasar 25. mar. 2020 kl. 16:55
Where is that file located? File explorer yields no results when I try to find it

Edit: nvm its in the GAME files, not in the mod files... I wonder which mods interfers, because I don't have any society mods afaik.

INDEED, I found it, it's ancient religion reborn.
Do you think theres a way to merge the two?
or am I gonna completely break it all ?
As far as I understand Ancient Religions Reborn (AAR), is further up in the load order ,so it overwrites that file from your mod. Which makes it completely, partially functional.
I would expect it not to work at all or crash, so theres just some features missing, weird.

The file in question is actually one of the most important files that my mod uses. If it does not function, none of my Lodges will get any of the intended features and events from vanilla.

And, yeah it definitely should be possible for you to merge these two mods together. Tools like WinMerge is very effective to see the differance between two variations of the same file. :)

For me, every month I get an event that says that I'm walking in a poor district and my fellow champions praise me.
kurthakon  [udvikler] 30. mar. 2020 kl. 11:14
It triggers every month? I'm not sure how that is possible. That particular event shouldn't trigger at all currently due to a bug.

Have you used the War Sacrifice decision to any of the Warrior Lodges? Are you a member of the Champions of Christ?

R1Forever 30. mar. 2020 kl. 14:51
I haven't used the war sacrifice button and I'm not part of the Champions of Christ. The only society I'm in is the Wolf Warriors
kurthakon  [udvikler] 30. mar. 2020 kl. 14:59
That's weird. In that case the event shouldn't trigger at all. Could you perhaps send me your save game so that I can take a look to see if it's a delayed event since it's repeating monthly.
R1Forever 30. mar. 2020 kl. 15:43
Oh, I know what the problem is. I'm using another mod that conflicts with the warrior societies mod.
kurthakon  [udvikler] 30. mar. 2020 kl. 16:01
Ahh, that's often the case. Still, a bit weird that it bugged out like this.
