You say you are sure none of your mods are causing issues, but have you tested this via the process of elimination?
If you haven’t done it yet, you definitely should. Disable every other mod no matter how insignificant, while you only leave Warrior Societies active.
See if you have any other decisions available after you’ve loaded up your game. As the Grand Master of the society you should have decisions like Legendary Gathering, War Sacrifice and Summon Lodge Commander available in the decisions section in the intrigue tab for example.
Please report back to me when you have done this.
There’s actually already a list of all the vanilla files my mod alters on the Steam Workshop page.
"The following vanilla files are altered in this mod:
00_scripted_effects.txt
02_scripted_triggers_warrior_lodges.txt
hf_warrior_lodge_decisions.txt
HF_battle_events.txt
hf_warrior_lodge_events.txt
HF_warrior_lodge_feast_events
HF_warrior_lodge_powers_events.txt
HF_warrior_lodges_hunting_events.txt
imprisoned_events.txt
04_customizable_localisation_warrior_lodges.txt"
Also, a piece of modding advice: You definitely should avoid using vanilla files in your mod when possible, especially if you haven’t actually changed anything in the file. As you have noticed, it is likely to cause issues with other mods if they are using the same files.
I’m currently working on severely reducing the number of vanilla files I’m using in my mod, by using https://ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Modding#Game_structure as an guide. Though, CK2 is annoyingly very inconsistent in how it behaves while merging code.
Dunno why. I dont have any other society mods
Because the Hellenic Society/Germanic Pagan society has no problems, all works fine
Edit: nvm its in the GAME files, not in the mod files... I wonder which mods interfers, because I don't have any society mods afaik.
Do you think theres a way to merge the two?
or am I gonna completely break it all ?
As far as I understand Ancient Religions Reborn (AAR), is further up in the load order ,so it overwrites that file from your mod. Which makes it completely, partially functional.
I would expect it not to work at all or crash, so theres just some features missing, weird.
And, yeah it definitely should be possible for you to merge these two mods together. Tools like WinMerge is very effective to see the differance between two variations of the same file. :)
Have you used the War Sacrifice decision to any of the Warrior Lodges? Are you a member of the Champions of Christ?
