They're punching, headbutting and biting all kinds of creatures to death in the name of Skarne.
Given their raiding and marauding are supposed to be central to the race mod's theme, I'm wondering if they shouldn't be made more dangerous, because vanilla human outlanders are more of a threat than they are at the moment despite the never retreat thing. Part of this is because of the lack of gear at the moment, which should be alleviated as the mod grows, but maybe higher classes of Revia in the raids sent over could use some of the equipment in the tech tree other than the odd eviscerator or harvester I've noticed; they don't ever seem to field any ranged units, let alone grenadiers like vanilla has. I'd love to see what kind of apparel you have planned for the race.
Also, it would be cool if more dangerous NPCs could be generated with higher levels of soul reap than 2. Empire troops have guaranteed ranks in skills and potentials for bionics, too.
I understand the mod is pretty young, but those are my thoughts anyways. Thanks for the great mod nonetheless.
Coronapanic lockdown in effect, gives me time to experiment!
The three sisters stared out over the sand, bodies littering the little beach. All that work they'd spent deepening the natural sea channel had paid off yet again.
"That's the fifth time they've tried so far this year. They've been coming for as long as we remember, and they've yet to take the bridge leading to the monastery. Argentrock Isle remains inviolate."
"Except the couple of times they dropped straight on us with pods."
"It didn't change much, did it?"
"...No."
"What disagreement did Mother brook with the High Templar, anyway, for them to be this desperate to wipe us out?"
The eldest of the sisters, silent so far, cleared her throat. "Look at what we've wrought, sisters. Three of us against a hundred or more. Even with Mother pregnant and unable to fight, we held the bridge. Again. Do you think that without the favour of Skarne, we would have emerged victorious?"
"No."

"We called down the thunder of Skarne upon them. Blood rained from the sky as fire flashed. Mother holds the truth, and was exiled for it. She and I were expected to die in the wilds and disappear forever. Instead, we founded the monastery, and so long as we exist, we are a threat."
"And then we were born."
"Yes. And soon, another sister of battle will join us."
"..."
"...Now, help me carry the bodies inside before they rot. Mother will be spending all of this day and next performing the appropriate sacrifices."
"They just keep coming. Where do they come from? What do they really want?"
"You think too much, sister."

Mother busy at work while the sisters clean up the battlefield. Maybe someday they'll be able to get a proper skull throne -- with gilded skulls, of course. And a proper bloody altar instead of sigils on the floor...but then again, this is an isolated monastery on a peninsula island, they can't have everything, can they?

In breaking with usual Revian tradition, the sisters of Argentrock Isle take prisoners for an experiment as opposed to massed slaughter. Although they do not use red haze themselves, they wonder if other peoples can be made to see the truth of Skarne -- whether they like it or not. If the prisoners survive, they will be released back to their own...
"What sick bastard sends babies to fight us?"
The other sister shook her head. "Someone willing to take advantage of the fervor of youth. This one is young. Impressionable. Pious, and already exiled once."
"We can't take her in. You know the rules. Only those born of the mother may dwell upon the island."
"No. But we can make her see the truth of Skarne and send her back."
"What did they DO to me? Not that I'm ungrateful for being rescued, but I feel kind of weird..."
The daily blood benediction.
"Daughters! Attend to your mother!"
