[WarHammer 40k] GeneSeed
I'm a damn doofus - how exactly do I make use of the geneseed?
I can't seem to determine if I need to first "administer geneseed", then continue the operations until I have all 19 organs, or am I supposed to just take one geneseed per day and wait for it to happen?

When I did try to take one geneseeed per day, the option to continue the geneseed operations disappeared, and some organs disappered that were simply missing on the body before (like Lyman's Ear is one I can remember, amongst others I cannot).

I always end up with the following organs:
Ossmodula
Catalespean Node
Occulobe Augmentation
Sus-an Membranes
Neuroglottis
Larraman's Organ
Preomnor
Betcher's Gland
Secondary Heart
Multi-Lung
Biscopea
Melanchrome
Haemastamen
Oolitic Kidney
Omophagea

Some simply just disappear from my pawn, even if I managed to operate them in.

for me I just have them take the gene seed without any operations, I set them to their own drug policy so they do it every day. Just check with them every so often so your not wasting any

Do you not end up with 15 out of 19 too?

General FYI,
Firstly, authors dont get notified when you start your own discussion.
Secondly, im afraid ive never actually used this mod myself other than testing things worked.

with that out of the way.
have you tried checking with the show hidden hediffs option enabled?, its an odd mod, those are actual body parts, not just hediffs, so if it doesnt say its missing, then its there, the author may not have added any specific effects for those organs though

I usually make all of the augmentations (arms, legs, lungs, etc.), then install them before doing what operations I can involving gene seed. Lastly, I put them on the gene seed regimen; this will actually grow certain organs over time.

1. Craft and install augmented parts/organs.
2. Do operations requiring gene seed.
3. Start gene seed regimen.

BTW, I'm using Astra Militarum and Mechanicus Armory as well, pretty sure some of those augments come from those mods, too.
