• Stone Furnace smelts iron ore into Allosteel instead of Iron Bars (ERM; my fault)

^ The following have been fixed in the latest version.

[19:07:12.197] [Error] Could not apply patch from file /items/generic/other/antidote.consumable.patch in source: D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\211820\2010607826\contents.pak. Minor error, but something I noticed in my log. Note I also use both 1,000,000 Max Stack and bk3k's Inventory, which both (as far as I'm aware on that second one) modify the stack size.

Looks like an edit to coal made on the 21st is causing errors. the crashes occurs when i mouse over coal, previous build of the mod didn't have the issue. Hope this helps.

that's weird... can you provide the full log please?

There currently doesn't seem to be a totally reliable way to get the iron crafting table! it doesn't seem like the quest activates in the outpost 100% of the time, leaving you progress-locked after beating Dreadwing. (unless you cheat in the table) It doesn't seem to be a mod confliction, as I've been able to get the quest on a captain after returning the outpost back to its original state. (usually i have it set to its "complete" state)

would you be able to provide logs? the quest for the iron crafting table should be offered after giving the 20 Erchius Crystals to Penguin Pete

OH That would explain the problem, then! I was assuming the quest would be available the moment you first go to the outpost ^^; (I have a mod that auto-fixes the ship upon interacting with SAIL, and since I don't really play the story anymore unless to unlock bounty hunting that's where my confusion came from!)

I have a bug to report! When you kill a monster with the Brain Extractor, you get booted back to your ship. You still manage to get a brain, sure, but having to beam back down to the planet to kill another monster to get a good brain is infuriating.

Was gonna put this as another reply for feedback, but I just realized this would p'rolly be better here. ^^;
Steel isn't automatically unlocked upon getting the metalwork station! It's "there", but currently only obtainable via turning on admin mode. You also don't get the blueprint for it if you decide to craft it while admin mode's turned on, so it still returns to being hidden once you turn it off.

Can both of you provide logs, please?

Panda, what monsters are you killing?

Jarre, steel is always unlocked for all characters, so it must be a conflicting mod. I'll add a redundancy though
Panda_The_Boss May 1, 2020 @ 3:15pm
Just common, randomly-generated ones. Other monsters, like Gleaps and Poptops, don't provide anything at all. I've tried it with both randomly-generated ground monsters and randomly-generated birds, and both result to a boot back to ship on death. (What's worse is that while the ones that give inferior brains at least give you the brain when they kick you back, the ones that give superior brains force you to beam back down to collect the brain they dropped!)
EDIT: Log here, with some randomly-generated creatures and a handful of non-randomly-generated creatures for guinea pigs. https://pastebin.com/uzv1CphC

Thank you! I'll get started on checking them out.

Jarre, in the meantime, try doing /spawnitem sb_steelbar-recipe
