Space stations and venators
Will the next update replace the current republic T5 space station with a lore friendly one like the Valor? Any plans on making the venator lore friendly? (larger size, better shields, more fighters, more smaller guns)

Yes, there will be Valor and IGBC station

Venators are already "lore friendly", no plans for them

Every wiki disagrees with you on if it is Lore friendly or not.
Glad to hear about the station changes

The wiki also says that the Venator carries 192 V-Wings, and what's in the 'lore' changes from book to book to series to movie to book

It's more than lore friendly

Venators as they are in the mod are accurate to the lore, especially the size and armament.

I find Venators to be very weak in this mod. In Episode 3 we clearly see how only one Venator defeats a Providence, and not just some random Providence but Grievous' flagship at that. I think lore-wise the CIS relied more on numbers while the Republic relied more on quality, so both the GAR and Republic Fleet were better but outnumbered.

Yep. a normal Venator beat the cis flagship 1v1 but apparently that isn't "lore friendly" kekw

Except the Guarlara managed to cripple the Invisible Hand only after a full day of combat. We don't see how many other Venators had engaged the flagship.

I mean, we see a Recusant going broadside with a Venator in Episode 3 too, but in the lore and in the mod that is literally the worst possible place for a Recusant to be. and there's enough Venators in the opening shot that it'd be near impossible to count them, so it's hard to imagine only one venator was firing at it (hell, some friendly fire probably happened as well, given how disorganized that battle in particular was according to the lore), not to mention the fact that the entire command bridge was recently taken care of by two jedi.

Plus, N-1 Starfighters took out a Lucrehulk in Phantom Menace, and Y-Wing Bombers took out a Subjugator (also Grievous' flagship, the Malevolence), lore friendly isn't exactly a golden standard.

Wasn't that N-1 Starfighter and Y-wing squadron lead by a certain Anakin Skywalker ;)

Venator lore is abit confusing since there are actually 2 types of Venator in Star Wars. The early models, which are the primary warship in the Clone Wars are actually not that durable and often engage separatist forces at range relying on Starfighters to do the leg work, these ones have a different hangar layout and seem to lack deck guns and may or may not have Proton Torpedo launchers. The newer variant that appears towards the end of the Clone Wars and in RoS has a redesigned ventral hangar doors and internal hangar layout, deck cannons and is much more durable allowing it to engage Separatist ships at close range, which is an advantage as the CIS usually had more ships. Engaging ships at close range would CIS ships would run the risk of hitting friendly warships and on average had weaker hulls. The current Venator model seems to be based of the RoS model in terms of design and weapons load, the Medium Turbolaser batteries represent the deck guns from what I've been told. The only inaccuracy I could find with the Venator is that it has less Laser Cannon Turret batteries than represented ('Storm over Ryloth' is where the Defensive laser turrets are most visible). Its also possible that like with Providence class Destroyer/carriers Venator armament varied from shipyard of origin to it's commanding officer, not all Venator's were equipped with SPHA or even had the same fighter complements due to hangar space competition with ground equipment.

@White_Wolf No telling how many engagements it had already been in. Kenobi was surprised it's shields were still up when they went to board it.

Besides, no two fights in war are ever the same, or guaranteed. In TCW you see Grevious pit 5 munificients against 3 venerators, and he was fairly confident he'd win, even disabled one, only losing because the asteroids used to deploy an ambush behind them.
