Chemical Processing
I have been working on a new mod concept that will be called Chemical Processing. Its a variant of this very mod, however, featuring new elements, means to obtain and refine them. So far I have come up with the following elements:
- Rubber
- Silver
- Molten Silver
- Silver Gas
- Borax
- Oil Shale

I know that ONI have some limitations regarding how many new elements you can create, but I hope to not break the limits. All the mentioned elements were created and tested too. Here is a small sample of their appearance:

I love it, your mods are my favorite by far. You might consider Mercury from Cinnabar or something similar. That could have a lot of interesting implementations.

There is Mercury in the game already. Also Mercury Gas has the highest Thermal Conductivity, at least for high temperatures. Your Mercury source in the game is the Gold Amalgam processed through the Plasma Furnace. Cinnabar is a great idea, the problem is how to force such raw ore in the biomes without debug or manual changes in the biomes files. I happen to not know how to do this through code yet, so much of these new minerals will come through the mineral mill.

You can make a machine that make chemical things like oxylite, bleach stone and other things.

As a quick feedback, I have made some really good progress with Chemical Processing mod, much thanks to my friend Pether.pg for making the code necessary for a building called Mineral Drill to work.

This building will be attached to a geyser like thing, called Mineral Deposit, and requires metals for drilling down. Each metal has its own unique list of minerals it will yield, totally random, during its operation.

I have made another new element, Titanium, which has 3 states: solid, liquid and gaseous. Also I can confirm the custom element limit is not 10 anymore, since my mod now has 13. Now I'm starting the coding of Zinc, with its own 3 states, and Brass alloy (zinc + copper).

So here are the new elements I have created so solver, from left to right:
silver ore, silver, zinc ore, zinc, black titanium ore, titanium, brass, tungsten carbide, fiberglass, borax and oil shale

I have 18 new elements in total, counting with the liquid and gaseous states of zinc, silver and titanium.
