I'm annoyed because personally i don't think this scrawny little thing is worthy of the Monkey King Bar. I want everything else to be added as the best chest ever, apart from this... thing. The fact that it spearheads the whole item collection confuses me. It's just an ugly monkey that has stolen an amazing artifact. If it is added, at least i can dedicate whole games to killing it repetetively, which i will do.

Uhh...The courier is suppose to be the Monkey King. The Monkey King Bar belongs to him hence the name. Icefrog got the idea to add MKB was from the old Chinese folktale "Journey to the West" which stars the Monkey King.

Please do some research before going around saying stuff like "It's just an ugly monkey that has stolen an amazing artifact." When I doubt you even knew the item belong to this "ugly" monkey.

I've mostly heard of the Monkey King being portrayed as a gorilla with a scimitar, so i probably imaged the same thing in the Dota universe but with the Monkey King Bar instead.

The Monkey King's signature weapon is the MKB in all stories. He might of used a scimitar during a fight but the Monkey King has ALWAYS used the staff. Think Goku, the 3rd Hokage, the list can go on. They all uses a staff. Also in all the games the real Monkey King has showed up in, he is using a staff.

Its model and textures are extremely well done, the title "this thing sucks" is misleading because it is honestly really well done. The animations however are lacking, it doesn't feel alive, more head movements would be nice and when i think of monkeys i think of curious george, so why not have this little Sun WuKong be interested in his enviornment and alive

I admit that the title is a bit harsh, but in my post I stated an opinion just like yours.

I think it could be better animated too.

Truthfully, the animation could be a little better, but you seem to be missing the point. It is a very nice looking little courier, but that is the point, IT IS A COURIER. A courier isn't going to be a huge gorilla with a scimitar as one of the guys suggested. A courier is a weak thing in DOTA and I think the representation of the monkey king is quite an accurate representation. If you have seen the old series from the 1980's then you would realise this. The monkey king is portrayed as a young, comedic, happy character that is very loveable (not unlilke this courier) and the staff is HIS weapon. The series itself is funny and family based with the character being very loveable, like this courier is. Please also bare in mind that they would probably polish this up a bit before they released it and would probably fix the animation but when you consider that this has been done by someone at home in their spare time then they have done an excellent job of it. So don't you think that the term 'This thing sucks' is a bit harsh?

Two posts above you "I admit that the title is a bit harsh". Do you even read? And it doesn't matter if it's done by proffesional studio or one guy in home. Just best items should go to shop, and there's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of couriers already, we shouldn't get couriers with lazy animations like this one. But I have to admit that it's textured really well, so all they need to do, is to make animations better, now they are really bad.
