INI CONFIGS EXPLAINED

This mod is structured a little differently to your usual creature variant based mod. However, this mod is a lot more than that and just plays one part of the journey.

The mod has been setup in a way that you tier your tamed creatures from their Vanilla normal Ark versions.

Via a linear process progressing through each tier, currently, there are 10 total tiers including sub tiers.

They progress in the following manner and in order to reach each tier your creature must be the previous tier.

Tier 1 Enhanced
Tier 2 Elite
Tier 3 Wraith
Tier 4 Firestorm, Spirit Plague, Glacier
Tier 5 Shadow Fall
Tier 6 Ethereal
Tier 7 Night Void
Tier 8 Transcendent

IF YOU ARE NOT A FAN OF THIS PATH THATS OKAY!

YOU! have the ability through INI settings to rearrange the tiers as you see fit!

Along with the multiplication of their stats that will apply to each tier!

Default Multiplication of stats is as follows.

Tier 1 2 X Stats

Relates to the progressive nature of the tiers and how you would like them to run.

if you set the tiers to the same number this means they will become subtiers like Firestorm Spirite Plague & Glacier are by default.

OK SO HOW DO I TIER MY CREATURES?

A structure based enhancing system has been introduced and as you experience the corrupted arks along side AVA your trusty artificial virtual assistant you will unlock new engrams to be able to craft new structures.

this unlock process follows a structure by structure unlock process so building and using your structures will result in unlocking new structures to further your journey.

in some cases you may need to place a structure again after an update if you have not received the next DATA LOG after placing or successfully using a new structure.

this will only be necessary if something GOES WRONG and should work fine in the first instance.

if you are having trouble unlocking structures or feeling like you are stuck at a progression point please comment below so I can investigate if an issue has caused you to be stuck that needs to be resolved.

Section 3

Relates to difficulty adjustments & Quantities

BaseDustReqMulti=1.0 - effects the overal base value of dust required.
MutationDustReqMulti=5.0 - stacks on the basedustreqmulti

NEW VARIABLE DUST REQUIREMENTS - depending on the individual dinosaur - Multipliers controlled by INI settings

custom INI to control if dust clouds effect flyers or not.

This Command is VISUAL ONLY Will disable the Tiered Clouds Around Towers - you will still be able to harvest dust but not be able to see the clouds themselves - this is for those that get a performance hit from them

Controls the range of the corruption buff effects around mutation towers.
CreaturesToExcludeFromEnhancment=example_Character_BP_C,example2_Character_BP_C, this INI will block dinos from being enhanced. you can place as many creatures as you like seperated by commo's as per the example

Corruption Buff Difficulty is calculated As follows

Server Difficulty Divided by 2 Multiplied by Negative 1 = -2.5 Example: (5/2=2.5 (2.5X-1) = -2.5)
This Calculation is then added to the Base Difficulty
Buff-difficulty Multiplied by Buff Tier Difficulty Multiplied by Negative 1 = -1 Example: (1.0 X 1.0 = 1.0) (1.0 X -1) = -1)
These Two Numbers are then added together = -3.5 per second reduction in the applicable stat

Buff Tier Difficulty - is a set number as per the below
Tier 1 1.0
Tier 2 1.0
Tier 3 1.0
TIer 4 1.5 (Only applicable to SpiritPlague)
Tier 5 2.5
Tier 6 3.0
Tier 7 4.0
Tier 8 3.5

When disabling the Server Multi in the below Options - the default calculation will only be based on the Second INI config as per the below multiplied by the Buff Tier Difficulty Level

Due to Ark Thermal Mechanics - Firestorm & Glacier Tier Corruption Buffs Are calculated differently

Glacier Tier
Server Difficulty Divided by 4 then multiplied by the buff difficulty ini multiplied by 500
When Server Difficulty is turned off the buff difficulty is multiplied by 500

FireStorm
Server Difficulty Divided by 2 then multiplied by the buff difficulty ini multiplied by 100
When Server Difficulty is turned off the buff difficulty is multiplied by 250

CorruptStormLimit=100 -
to lower or increase the storm limit




Towers & Hives now use a wave timer event - interacting with the mutation towers and hives will initiate the event the event will then run with multiple waves - you will then need to finalise the event interacting with the hive or tower again after the waves end

New INI's to configure these waves are below the default amounts are included for hives and mutation towers - the only change in default is the volume of defenders.

simply replace Enhanced with the tier type and copy and paste the ini you want to change.

these Ini's are not required by default.

please note that hives and towers no longer need to be damaged at all to succeed. - in addition - Genome cores have now been replaced with Hive Embryo's and the mutation towers now drop keys instead of cores

Please note that the numbers in the strength of wave defenders is equal to a percentage so for example 1 = 10% strength of attacker and 4 = 40%

How do i set the level of the Hive dinos? At one point they were all level 1. Now after a fresh install theyre all 600. Id like each tier to correspond to the difficulty level i set in the ini. Example - my enhanced tier is difficulty 20 like the server. Elite tier is 22 , wraith 24 etc etc etc. but this isnt working. Any ideas? Theyre staying level 600 regardless of the hive tier.

@graysorrow. it sounds like your mod files are corrupt they should be level 1 still and only ever the max server level if you attack a hive with no tames present. there is also a change I am making as per the notes on the main discussion page for the mod.

Thanks a ton. I understand what you mean. I look forward to seeing what else you can do with this fantastic mod.

Small suggestions - Make hive drones Eatable because they make your dino get stuck constantly. And maybe make the drones ATTACK the hive? currently i can just stand there with a few dinos on aggresive and afk while it solos itself. Maybe have the drones do damage to the hive to add a actual defensive minigame. Thanks again

how do i turn down the towers in my area without changing files
is there a admin command to disable them or something?
