Stellaris

Star Trek: New Civilisations
Starship Retirement
I was expecting a warning about older style starships being decommissioned in favor of newer ones.

But when the Miranda-Class was researched to replace the NX-Class, nothing happened.

When you get this message, I hope you will have someone to spare to fix the problem.

Yes, it's currently not working due to a Stellaris 4.0 bug/change. I need to think of a good way around it without impacting performance.

Well, I hope that it won't take you too long to find a way.

I'd hate for this wait to be no better than Universe Sandbox.
Tell me you managed to fix the automated starship retirement feature by now.
Is anyone going to do something about the Klingon ship retirement feature?

With the new ship classes already researched, the older ones should be retired automatically.

What's wrong with this picture?

As I say, it requires a fix to how Stellaris can read scripted modifiers values from ships in design scope, after PDS added an intermediary growth_stage scope.

Then I hope you're still working on it, and that it'll be ready for full release in the next update.

I'm not working on it, I'm waiting for a fix from PDS.

Paradox in general is very slow to fix bugs. There are still some around from 1.0 and this may be one of them. I recall this bug being around in the mod for a very long time at this point. Theres not much if anything Walshicus can do about it either. It's engine level from what I know.
