Crash on 3.2.2 when starting a game
Hi guys,
I'm having problems with STNC. It crashes after about 25% loading when starting a new game. I'm on an M1 MacBook Pro running via Rosetta.

Stellaris itself or STNH run perfectly fine. What can I do, please?

Edit:
Completely deleted and reinstalled Stellaris and all mods. Activated just the STNC mod, not even UI mods. Problem persists.

Might be a graphics memory thing. I know there was a tonne of issues on Macs related to memory usage, and STNC has a lot of assets to load.

What error do you get in your equivalent of this folder?
C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\crashes\
I lowered the settings significantly, no change. My MBP has 16 GB combined memory, the same as my Intel MBP before and that worked well.

I'm told that exception relates to memory access problems. Maybe something about not being able to sign graphics memory?
I have no idea honestly. It's weird since every single other mod I'm using doesn't lead to this error. And I believe I used STNC before, I just don't remember if it was on this new Mac or on my old Intel MBP (sold it). I have the MBA from my wife, I can try it on that machine and report back.
Same issue here. My M1 Pro Max was working perfectly 2 months ago when launching new game. need to revert to old saved initial starts to play the game.

Pretty sure its not a resource thing because in my saved games I have the largest map open with max civilizations and maxed out graphics. The M1 does this with no effort at all, while I swipe between desktops (xCode compiling in other windows)

So is it crashing when creating a new game, or when loading to the menu?
Its the same here. Using a MBP IntelProcessor i7 16MB combined. My old save games work very well with the changes from 3.2.2. (even the lore rich galaxy graphic settings maxed out) but if I try to start a new game the bar does no go above 25% and soon after stellaris crashes
I am having the same issue with my m1 pro but i have never made a save with this mod so i just cant play. (game crashes when i try to load a game after it reaches 25%)

While I try and get some better debugging... if you guys want to join the Discord I'm sure we'll be happy to provide some Day 0 save games that should bypass the issue with new games.

Hey everyone, I'm having the same issue as well on my iMac.
@walshicus, checked again today. Still crashing. It crashes on the loading splash screen before you are presented with the game play UI (galaxy), and after you have selected your race and launched. ~ 10-25% through loading, fatal error crash, brings all of the game down.

This behavior does not occur with vanilla stellaris.
