Between the printed version and digital versions there are numerous differences as we've discussed previously.
I built the Digital versions in TTS and Vassal with the provided image files.
With assistance from ickyfoot(Eric F.) we've compiled a list of differences.
When possible, the errata cards replaced the print cards.
I've updated the TTS module to include a print+errta version, but default is the 'digital version.' This is a very tedious process to isolate each difference, then update the artwork. After spending hours upon hours to just update the 4 challenge decks for TTS, i've decided that is enough. I am choosing to not invest additional time to update the same images for Vassal, not do I want to start updating the idea decks.
I'll continue to update the TTS module with bug fixes and other improvements, but I'm not going to be trying to recreate the artwork from the print version.
If another user wants to track down all the differences, compare it to the design spreadsheet, and update the artwork, II'll gladly put the artwork into the modules.
I am adding an alternate state to every card so that it can be switched to a 2-sided tile that is more convenient for use on the tableau. I noticed that the .jpg source images have jpeg artifacts; I did an imagemagick despeckle which helped a little. What I'm really asking for is if there are higher resolution non-jpg masters of these cards.
I am handy with scripting imagemagick for batch processing images and forming the montages that TTS needs, so the state of organization doesn't matter. Also, the state/tile work that I did is fully scripted so I can regenerate it easily with different source images.
Anyway, I'm hoping to play test the state/tile cards in the next few weeks.
