Does this mod alter how armors work?

I'm curious because I had someone in masterwork marine armor and they were getting stabbed and cut in the legs which as far as i know should be impossible with the marine armor being over 100% sharp resistant

weapons have armor penetration, so 100% sharp resistance doesn't mean no sharp damage
