Render It!
This topic has been pinned, so it's probably important

Daylight Classic, Softer Shadows and Relight
For all three mods, it is worth knowing they are changing the gradient colors (timed) to actually fewer gradient colors than the vanilla game have hence reducing how a day in the game is experienced. Render It! works dynamically with the gradient colors and therefore never fewer than the vanilla game if you start from a empty profile.

If you want to reproduce the effects from Daylight Classic, Softer Shadows and Relight in Render It!, it is possible. For Daylight Classic and Softer Shadows it is fairly simple.

Daylight Classic: Set the middle timed Sun & Moon Colors to white (RGB: 255, 255, 255) and adjust Sun & Moon Intensity to 3.3, Sky Exposure to 1 (or in Theme Mixer 2 if you have it enabled) and Wave Lengths (Both Red, Green and Blue) to 680. LUT can be change under Post-processing. If you want the changes to fog effects as well, then adjust these under Environment. The Sky Tint Color (RGB: 104, 166, 211) can be changed in Theme Mixer 2.

Softer Shadows: Set the middle timed Equator Colors to white (RGB: 255, 255, 255).

Relight: This is a lot more tricky since this mod does some static calculations converting temperature and tint to gradient colors, and brightness, gamma and contrast to tone mapping. In Render It! you can adjust all gradient colors separately and the tone mapper for Color Grading in Render It! is a lot more advanced than in Relight. You can therefore fine tune even more in Render It!

If you want to convert Relight settings to Render It!, then try this converter:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/144lUvOH0Zt3Fw1QQDoIqUU383cwJXSFir8iPTbfLyAs/edit?usp=sharing

It was made by @네인 | neinnew so all credit to him for the converter.

Remember that this does not include changes to the vanilla tone mapping since it can not be set by Render It! It only works for the lighting (directional and ambient light colors) from Relight. If you want to change tone mapping, use the much more advanced tonemapper for Color Grading in Render It!

Wow. Thanks for this @Keallu. I've been trying to figure out how to Use Render It!, Hide It!, Theme Mixer 2, and Daylight Classic in tandem for about a month now when I started using mods. This will help I believe. I just have to figure out some unrelated things that will help decrease the 2+ hour load times (though I suspect it has something to do with the 2K+ assets I have when following Biffa on one of his YouTube series for the city he's building (built) using the Collaborihna map. And I don't have all the DLC (only missing 2 Including the latest Financial districts one). And yes I have made sure that I use the Compatibility mod to make sure I have all the updated or recommended alternative mods based on the Biffa's latest LOT thingy.

Are you using Loading Screen Mod Revisited? This should help on your load time.

Yes I am. I'm playing around with the skip.txt feature right now to see how much I can reduce the load times. I'm starting with the Winter assets and all the ore related and some others. So far have the load time down to about 3 hours instead of the 5 hour load time.

You should use LOM Mod and follow this guide:

Reduced my loading times from 1 hour down to 7 min.

Thank you so much. I've been pulling my hair out trying to juggle settings between all these different graphics mods because I didn't realize how much Render It! is actually capable of. Incredible guide for an incredible mod, seriously. I'm so excited to start setting it up properly in game tonight!

I am using LOM Mod. It turns out that I need more RAM and a better VId Card. I'm on a Dell G3 3579 Laptop with Intel Core i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz processor, 8GB RAM. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 8GB GPU. Basically I need to save up some cash to get an actual Gaming Desktop. For now I'm just gonna muddle through with what I have until I can get the desktop.

You could also do a serious cleanup of mods and assets. The game is playable and enjoyable even though you don't use +50 mods and +1000 assets :)

FYI: I think this converter is no longer applicable. For instance, the ground colors offered in the converter offer 6 set of values whereas Render It! in its current state only needs 4. The same applies for equator colors as well if I recall correctly.

Does anyone have suggetions on which values from the converter to use, or could we gently nudge @네인 | neinnew to update the converter. I'd prefer the former, honestly.

That's because Relight have a static of six gradients for all four colors. Vanilla game hence Render It! have different for each. It is stated in the first paragraph above.

Deleted my post because I found a workaround myself. Thank you for pointing out my mistake.

I thought it was a good question and left it there for others to reference to :)

Whats the "middle time" ?
Keallu  [developer] Apr 20, 2023 @ 9:08am
The one in the middle.
Svis May 12, 2023 @ 9:57am
The "equator color" is weird to me, it doesn't seem to do anything and everything I close the window and reopen it it reverts to "dawn" time...

The dark side is still very dark
