You can use march compilations of Soviet Republics from GETchan. They post music, songs, marches from the Soviet republics such as Azerbaijan, Turkmenstan, Ukraine etc, you get the point :)

I don't know if it was already suggested, but a few kuban cossack choir songs like Там шли два брата or Когда мы были на войне. They are Russian part of cossacks, so i think that it will match well
