Range 15 is a RP/PvE Chernarus based and Expansion-free vanilla-plus-server, with a few other mods to really help your immersion in game. Base building is permitted and we do have a few mods to help with that process. We have many custom items and places, crafting system and the surroundings will draw you in. There is a well balanced and well worked economy in place. Whether you are a shady drug dealer, an upstanding police department, a low down dirty gun runner or a humble huntsman there is always a way to make money and benefit yourself and help others. Buy unique items at some of the custom trader locations, including black market, drug dealer and milsim/airsoft arena and vendor. Traveling is easier due to constant stamina and an increased number of opportunites presented by others on the server, including the number of purchasable vehicles. No PvP Zones except for at the milsim trader. No Raiding except once a month during Purge Night. Get ready for an immersive overhaul with enhanced wildlife and more aware and aggresive zombies, food, even functioning PDA. Chernarus has been modified to represent the true darkness and overwhelming feeling of helplessness that is the apocalypse. It's up to you to build you future and form it. Whitelist Applications are open and will remain open until the server population is fulfilled. The server will expand slots as needed and requested by server donors. Lore:

Range 15

Our Lore provides the foundation from which both our world and it’s characters are built. Much like the ambition of Range 15, this part of the Lore is in the past, and only the future can be decided by YOU the Player. In the year 2022 the World Powers that were once in charge expedited the hands on the doomsday clock. Instead of finding a path of peace and agreeability, the Nations waged war on each other. This war was not one of traditional warfare. This one was fought first by the soldiers, and then the scientists.

Precursors: It began in 2021 with the collapse of the Global Market. With each Government pointing the finger at each other. It was unclear who was truly at fault in causing the collapse of the Global Economy. The Alliances became clear very quickly with the old United Nations (U.N.) quickly stepping up to take control of the World Stage. The Countries left out of the former U.N., all formed an immediate Alliance of their own. With the lines drawn it became clear that traditional warfare was not going to be effective against these smaller pockets of resistance, and that another route was needed to quell the resistance.

The Smoking Gun: The year was 2023 when the then U.N. pushed the signing of “The New World Treaty” which stated that all Nations with nuclear capabilities MUST disarm all active warheads. To many people’s surprise, the Treaty was signed by the United States and Russia. Although Russia was very tentative with the signing of the Treaty, at first, they did sign it. Which opened up the flood gates of acceptance. This was the start of not only a New World, but a much better one. With a majority of the world’s population working together, all seemed to be working out for the betterment of human kind. That was until The Bulwark League (TBL) was formed. All the Nations who were seen as "The Resistance" who were forced into hiding had now come together and formed this new league. With nuclear warheads all deactivated and the signing of the New Treaty, TBL had to find another way to continue their war against the U.N. After months of hard work, TBL met a brilliant young scientist by the name of Dr. Francisco Torres, who was forced to leave the U.N. Scientific Team after discovering a new strain of cholera that he was caught weaponizing. He called this new strain PAC-037 (Pulmonary Adenoma Cholera). This new strain was much stronger on a global scale than traditional viruses. TBL, with the newly assigned head scientist Dr. Torres, now moved toward chemical and viral warfare as a way to cripple the U.N. With the weaponization of PAC-037, it was now time to attack and devastate the U.N.

After: The year that followed the attack by TBL was filled with despair, sorrow, and death. Dr. Torres's new strain of virus had mutated, and grew beyond the control of both TBL and the U.N. The evolution of the virus has forced it to take on new characteristics; infected individuals now no longer stay dead. They rise up from their deaths in a suspended state it seems. They are easily angered, cannibalistic, and ruthless. With this new development and the rate that this virus spread, both sides of this war were overtaken. The U.N. fell within the year, and has not been heard from in well over a year or more. TBL also went dark. Although many speculations are made as to the death of Dr. Torres, and the TBL. Range 15 as it is known to many now is one of the last pockets of humanity where the battle for life, death, good and evil is still being waged. You are the LAST of humanity, it is YOUR job to survive and make your way through this world, well what’s left of it anyways. The year is now 2025...Welcome to Range 15, good luck.

FAQ: Does my character have knowledge of the events listed above? Yes, your character should be aware of all things mentioned above as to keep the RP/storyline consistent.

What ways can I survive? You can make a living doing almost anything. From collecting clothes, crafting rags, running drugs and/or guns, black market trading...whatever you decide the potential is there.

Will you be adding more content to the server? Yes, but nothing major aside from things like implementing drug dealings and a few other financial things to help stimulate economy.
