2): TNO runs with the premise that the Nazis got natural 20s on basically everything until some point in the 50s. They could invade the UK, so they did, and they made it a semi-puppet. Free England can win and kick out the fascists. The collaborators aren't actually all Nazis or fascists, some just don't want to be bombed/nuked into the Stone Age.
3): This is exactly what happened, that state is probably entirely useless salt flats. Atlantropa is a stupid idea, but the Nazis tried it because they had plans for it and in this universe had the ability to do it. Notably, the Mediterranean countries (especially Spain, who has to keep the damn dam from falling) are not very impressed.
4): When one of the powerful Russian warlords invaded Germany in the 50s after a big economic crisis, Germany very nearly had a civil war between the Wehrmacht and the SS while still fighting the Russians. Himmler was given Burgundy to placate him and the SS was split between Burgundy and Germany. France was not consulted on this. Before that war, I assume France controlled most of the area and Germany occupied the rest.
5): Do you really think that of all people, the Nazis would really care about something like whether a city is Ukrainian, Russian, or something else? It's the Nazis - everybody in the RKs is basically a slave, who cares if your slaves in this one bit speak something a bit odd. I'm not convinced Hitler didn't just randomly draw lines on a map.
6): Pretty sure Mussolini wouldn't have relinquished those areas if he already had them. He could just re-annex them when Germany half-collapsed in the 50s anyway. Germany also has the Caucauses for oil now, making it less urgent, and I'm sure they were expecting Italy to stay friendly and ship oil. Iraq actually is independent-ish anyway, enough so to have their own power struggles and native leaders.
7): ...I will admit I'm not quite sure what happened here. It's not all of Pakistan (Pakistani independence is a thing) - those areas might be majority Pashtun or something? Do keep in mind that India got hit badly by Japan, hence the Bengal government.
9): Japan occupied Vladivostok but probably looked at all the snow further north and gave up. The Soviets got shattered due to being weaker, but there's still a bunch of various Communist leftovers (the WRRF is USSR 2.0, Lysenko and the NKVD are ostensibly communist given their use of ASSR for everything, I think Vorkuta is the Northern Fleet, there's a splinter group stuck in Tuva of NKVD men I think, and a few others I don't know of.) The Germans tried to go to the Urals and reportedly maintain that RK Moskowien does in fact extend there, but ultimately it was just too far to go. The border did use to be the AA line, though.
10): South America is always boring in HOI4 (unless Kaiserreich). Currently it has no developers, I think.
11): Iberia falls apart. Really, really badly. Imagine the Yugoslav Wars, but like twice as large and you also have four iterations of Serbia all fighting each other for different ideologies. It's confirmed there are more than four Portugals, and basically everywhere else can end up going independent or some random ideology. You can keep the Union stable by reforming it to a proper democracy thingy, I think.
12): No.
14): You obviously didn't actually look at the ideology wheel before complaining there isn't any new ideology here. The Burgundian System is basically Nazism but turned up to 11 - "more gas chambers than houses" is the state motto, everything is under state control, and it is kinda hard to describe how bad it is. Burgundy and the Caucauses start as BurgSys. There's also Ultranationalism (although that might have analogues IRL), which is for any extremely nationalist leader that isn't BurgSys and represents things like sending out your entire population armed with shovels to kill the Germans.
It's more of an impression, i totally get that this is your product and i am just a nobody. Mod is still great (even in demo version).
I can attest that this is wholly untrue. IRL there is a lot that has gone on in South America that the entirety of Europe and North America just ignored due to their own agendas elsewhere in the world. South America is host to a competing authoritarian regimes of varying stability, and it's not at all outside the realm of possibility to implement interesting content on it. That said, the devs have in mind what they have in mind. Let's allow them to produce their vision, not dictate what it should be.
As a concept, this mod is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant. In practice, the demo at least has several major problems of execution and showcases a nihilistic and hateful view of humanity that really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
This should've been a book. Sell it to Baen, write 2-3 sequels, make a few grand, take a vacation.
