Wanted to make sure of something
So, this is going to involve a spoiler, but it's something I need to know to make sure I don't wait here for 15 minutes:

Aight so I got to the fight with Freeman in the "Questionable Ethics" area, and I managed to get to the end of the fight. So now I'm just laying there with a black screen, while the two scientist left behind have been chatting for like... a solid minute.

Is that the end of the game or am I being impatient?

You must have encountered some very rare glitch, the conversation should last only several seconds and then the game should continue onward, try reloading some earlier save and it should fix itself.
