Long Patch Notes
V4.19
This update contains some back end optimization that does not effect any functionality but also allowed me to make the mod smaller (not by a lot) but still add content.
I'm sure I've missed somethings as this is a large update and will try to add them if I remember.
Structure renames:
Some structure have been renamed to help set them apart from each other.
Admin Merchant Cart is now the "Vendor Cart". The personal and tribe ones are unchanged.
Market Cart is now the "Trade Cart"
Furniture Crafter is now the "Decor Table"
Engrams removed:
Both wall shelves: Now crafted in the Decor Table.
Nightstand: Now crafted in the Decor Table.
Sink: Now crafted in the Decor Table.
Bug Fixes:
Quick chest can now again be pin locked when AllStructuresLocking server setting is used.
Empty Timed Tame Jars when placed in the Vendor Cart will properly update timer when purchased to be the same as a newly crafted one and in the cart they will just say new.
Various small bug fixes.
Small Changes:
Stove and Mortar and Pestol:
They now produce 25 dye per craft and still only 1 fiber per craft and I have reduced the craft time as well.
Quick Chest:
- Now has the option to hide the candle.
Tame Jars:
Tame Jars now show the mutations, if it is neutered or spayed and the imprint amount.
Small Reworks:
Merchant Cart and Personal Merchant Cart:
I have reworked the model and added a variant option. This has moved the location of the Coin Chest to behind and down low. This was done to help with the access to the main cart as the coin chest can often be in the way.
This will cause the current coin chest be floating in the air in its original location. To fix this the cart will need to be picked up and placed back down and the items put back in and priced again.
The sign no longer has collision and can be hidden. You can now place signs on the front of the cart.
Sign text will now automatically be set when you change the carts name.
Furniture Crafter:
The Furniture crafter has had a small internal rework and has been renamed the Decor Table.
This rework will allow the search function to work properly.
This rework will require for the table to be picked up and placed back down.
You will now need to have learned the engram for the table to see most of the craftable items inside. There are a few items it can craft that have their own engrams.
You will not see anything in its inventory but if it contained items they should be in a drop bag when it is picked up.
Sink and Drink Tap:
You can now just place them down and they will provide water to drink and refill containers WITHOUT the need to be connected to a water source (bucket or pipe with water). They however MUST be connected to a water source to provide water to crop plots.
New Items:
Tokens:
These tokens are for whatever you want them to be used for. Be it as a reward to purchase a special dino or just something to toss in a lake. They are whatever you say they are.
There are 9 of them. Black, Blue, Bronze, Cyan, Green, Purple, Red, Silver and Yellow.
New Structures:
Painting Canvases:
I have added 7 new canvases in various sizes.
- All snap to each other of their own size.
- Reworked the canvas model to be square and made them clean and much more white.
I have reworked the old large canvas with my new model and renamed it the Large HD Canvas as it has twice the pixels at 512X512 vs 256X256.
Bar Counter:
This can be used as a Counter or Bar.
- it has an inventory and has a variant with Stools.
- When it has stools your patrons can sit at the Bar on the stools. Also just like the other tables in this mod when you are seated you can access the bars inventory by pressing "F" so you don't have to get up to receive your items, they can simply just be put in the bar and you can access it while seated , no need to get up.
- When it has stools the bar keep need not worry about accidentally siting down from the other side of the bar as you can only sit at them if you are in front of the bar by the stools.
Fireplace:
I created a custom version of the vanilla model that has a wooden mantle and the chimney are separate pieces.
- It can cook meat like a campfire just slightly faster.
- It keeps the meat fresh longer while running just like my campfire does and can be used with or without the chimney.
- Chimneys can stack so you can make it as tall or short as you wish and they are much shorter than the vanilla chimney so more height variations can be done.
- Cap the chimney off with a chimney cap an it will produce smoke from the top no matter how tall or short the chimney is.
Major Reworks:
Vendor Cart: (formerly Admin Merchant Cart)
Reworked the model similarly to the Merchant carts but changed it so it is easy to distinguish between the admin cart and the player versions. Also has a variant option and other features added to the Merchant Carts.
Now has a bulk price option via the radial wheel. If this is used it will set all items in its inventory to the price of the last item that was priced.
Added the ability to set a per cart coin Item required to buy items in that cart.
The Vendor Cart will now accept Non timer Tame Jars with dinos in them. Warning all jars with dinos in them once priced will be destroyed if the jar is removed from the carts inventory.
When these are purchased, the dino contained in the jar can come out with 3 different options depending on setting. These will also be one time use jars and the jar will disappear when when the dino is spawned.
By default it will spawn a dino of the same type and level as the contained dino but all stats, gender and colors will be randomized as if it were a wild spawned dino (cause basically it is). This info will also be in the jars description and no dino stats or info will be displayed.
You can however, before you price the jar, change how it works via the radial wheel by choosing to disable randomized jar. If this is set it does not effect any previously priced jars, only future priced jars with dinos in them. The randomized feature can be turned back on at anytime.
If randomized jar is disabled then when used the dino will be a cloned version of the contained dino and all stats and info will be displayed in the jar description.
You can also set the non randomized to be the default via an INI and still enable or disable the feature via the radial wheel.
The 3rd option is a INI enable feature only. It will work the same as the randomized except when the dino is spawned it will have a 5% chance to spawn at 1 to 5 levels higher. This will replace the regular randomized mode and will be shown on the jars description. Again this will not effect previously priced jars.
Trade Carts: (Formerly Markets) It is highly recommended that these be picked up and placed back down to ensure the new coding is properly implemented.
These have been visually changed much like the Merchant carts have. Display board no longer has collision and can be hidden as well as the improvements to renaming the cart automatically setting the text on the sign.
Warning. All items that have been valued, if you use the remove function, or the cart is picked up or destroyed the Items will also be destroyed. (will not leave bag and items will not be returned)
Items value and quantity needed will now also be displayed in the items description.
You can now not only set the value but you can set the amount of the item needed as well.
The Trade Carts will now auto synchronize the values and amount needed for all valued items in that cart to all other carts of that type when a value is changed. New carts will sync to existing carts when first placed down.
This feature can be disabled via the radial wheel on a per cart basis so it will not synchronize with other carts. There is also an INI that will disable the auto sync on all carts and instead they can be synchronized manually. Manual sync can also be disabled on a per cart basis as well.
Legacy Markets:
The old markets are being removed from the mod to be replaced with Trade Tables based off of the new Trade Cart. The new ones will visually look the same as the old ones.
The legacy markets structures themselves will remain for a while but will be completely removed at a later date to allow transition to the new ones. Legacy markets will still work as they have if not picked up as picking them up will give the new Trade Tables instead.
The new Trade Tables will work like the Trade Cart for the revaluing of Items and such.
When first placed the new Tables will auto sync to others of its type unless there are none set to auto sync. These will have the same sync options as the Trade Cart does. If no other syncable carts are found or sync is disabled it will add the items found in the legacy market of their corresponding type and a the default values of those items. The default values cannot be changed like the old ones and must be done in game like the Trade Cart. Other items can be added or removed just like the Trade Cart.
INI settings:
