Elite Bionics Framework
Body Size Not affecting Max HP for parts
Hey, just tested this mod after i noticed that Pawn size wasn't affecting max hp after i updated my mods. Looks like this mod may be causing pawn size to not affect max hp. I'm not sure if that's intended, but i tested it on a clean install with only these mods in this order:
Harmony
Core
Royalty
Ideology
biotech
anomaly
hugslib
Character Editor
Character Editor Retextured
Dubs Mint Menus
Dubs Mint Menus Health Tab Patch
Vanilla Expanded Framework
Vanilla Races Expanded Pigskin
Could be an incompatibility with one of the above mods, but i didn't see any errors pop up in console.
Tested on vanilla parts and not bionics by applying a burn scar to the torso within character editor, observing match HP, then changing race to boarskin w/ character editor. Confirming Body scale stat changed within pawn information. Checking max hp for burned part.
Without EBF pawn Hp nearly doubles in some cases for torso, with EBF pawn hp does not stay the same despite pawn size stat changing.
This is one of my favorite mods and i thought at least it didn't change the effect on body size on max HP previously, let me know if you needs logs or anything and i can figure out how to get them; Regardless thank you for the great mod and work you put into it!

I am confused, so some more questions:

- Character Editor allows rerolling starting pawns?
- Which mod adds "Boarskin"?
- You add "Boarskin" to a pawn?
- "Boarskin" increases pawn body size?

But my basic response is that, for performance reasons, this mod caches the numbers a lot, so it is most likely a cross-mod edge case where pawns are rerolled without EBF knowing, and then EBF gives wrong numbers.
Sure, Boarskin is from the VRE pigskin mod, i used it to change the body size multiplayer, but the same behavior is exhibited by other races/xenotypes as well as other things that modify the body size multiplier. Boarskin is a xenotype from VRE pigskin. I'm not sure what you mean by reroll starting pawns. I didn't reroll any pawns, i just added the health condition or hediff? i think is the term, and then loaded the xenotype boarskin from VRE using character editor.

OK, so the keyword is xenotype, which is from the M-DLC (Biotech).

Yeah, I really didn't think about xenotypes at all, that's why adding any such xenotype does not really change the max HP. This is not related to "rerolling" pawns (sometimes eg Prepare Carefully the startup prep mods allow you to completely randomize a colonist in case you ran out of ideas of what to fine-tune, this is called "rerolling").
