Someones having a issue loading my mod on a server.
SilentKnight Apr 5, 2019 @ 11:58am
Disabled the ability to rename blocks and also disabled the ability to hide blocks in control panel. Disabling mod fixes this issue. Fixable?

That is really strange, i'll have look into it on our end. In the meantime have you tried loading the mod on a empty world by itself first?

Tested by itself with no other mods, and appeares to work normally, so must of been a compatability issue with another mod. Ill look into it and see which mod might of caused the compatability issue to see it it can get resolved.

Reloaded SEEX into my modded world that had issues, and now it seems to be working normally. Blocks can both be renamed and hidden, so mabey ultimatly it was a bug of some kind?

Latest Update breaks being able to pull up these items to add to tool bar/build bar. Causes client side crashes (on DS). Opening toolbar config works fine until I click on the 'Props' group.

Looks to be a DLC (booooooooo) collision: https://ghostbin.com/paste/c7gto

Strange one this and dont know if its specific to just your mod, when I select the "prop" sub menu on the G menu , I get a crash to desktop , both offline and online ... I do not have the DLC yet just in case that might be a variable. as the error log shows the following :

2019-04-09 07:49:03.130 - Thread: 1 -> Exception occured: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Sandbox.Game.SessionComponents.MySessionComponentDLC.HasDefinitionDLC(MyDefinitionBase definition, UInt64 steamId)
at Sandbox.Game.Gui.MyGuiScreenToolbarConfigBase.AddCubeDefinitionsToBlocks(IMySearchCondition searchCondition)
at Sandbox.Game.Gui.MyGuiScreenToolbarConfigBase.UpdateGridBlocksBySearchCondition(IMySearchCondition searchCondition)

I dont like the look of DLC in the error log lol .... just to clarify this is offline and online with just this one mod on a brand new empty world

Can confirm the issue, working on it.

After further investigation and just waiting on a confirmation from a test someone is doing , I think its more keen than you , other mods have exactly the same issue ... Ill let you know once my theory has been confirmed.

I just checked my mod code and compared to the latest keen build. No change that i noticed yet

Oh my, it looks like you can access the dlc for free by removing a tagline in xml. This is very bad.
SpacedNConfuzed Apr 9, 2019 @ 5:49am
Yeah I had checked it all myself as originally I thought they may have added something into the BlockCategories file but no change at all and cubeblocks only has one more tag for DLC stuff .... do you have the DLC on your account ? If so does the same thing happen for you ?
SpacedNConfuzed Apr 9, 2019 @ 5:50am
Oh yeah dont do that removal and bypass the DLC ... They are actively banning people who do and put it on the workshop lol

I wont touch anything yet until im confident that keen will bring out a hotfix.
SpacedNConfuzed Apr 9, 2019 @ 10:27pm
Looks like it is fixed now , FYI the error was caused by invalid references in the <blockvariants> either refering to something not there or refering to itself ...
