TM:PE stop signs vs vanilla junctions
I notice that the vanilla game added the ability to place stop signs on road junctions. It can be found in the Traffic Routes menu under the Junctions tab.

Does this clash with the TM:PE ability to edit junctions? I seem to be able to set stop signs both ways, yet they appear to do different things. The built-in way adds a stop sign prop, whereas TM:PE does not.
If I set both (because I like TM:PE's greater control but also want to see the sign prop) then will that cause any issues? Should I prefer one over the other?

Toggling traffic lights also appears to be a built-in thing too, but TM:PE seems to work with this by setting the same thing (the same icon appears).

Ok, I just noticed this down the bottom of the TM:PE wiki page:

Since the release of the Mass Transit DLC the base game contains a stop sign feature. Due to different mostly technical reasons (performance, mod inter-compatibility and functional differences) both TM:PE's priority sign and CO's stop sign feature currently work side-by-side and have not been merged into a single functional component. This however may be changed in a future version of TM:PE.

So I guess that answers some of my questions. I would still like to know if it is recommended to use both ways or to just stick to one.

well, for starters, the one ingame actually works. with the built-in one, using the stop actually makes them stop and wait for traffic to clear.
but with the mod... even with don't block junction it doesn't matter. if you use yield sometimes they pay attention but most of the time they drive right out into traffic, it causes so many problems and it completely ruins the concept of a roundabout. the stop sign doesnt do crap either, they just stop and then go right into traffic, again, blocking said traffic.
