Building suggestions
Maybe this could help Grimes to manage the suggestions better.
It'd be cool if every suggestion at least has the completion date.

Helpful additional info would be:
Name; Modern Day Location; Construction Dates (beginning + End); Description; Reason for Inclusion; Possible Location ingame; Notes [Possibly suggestions for Requirements, what bonuses the structure gives, etc]

Examples:

Mosque-Palace of the Caliph in Bagdhad, (then known as Madīnat as-Salām) Iraq;
Construction: ~762~767;
>Palace+Mosque Complex in the Center of the "Round City of Bagdhad";
>It was the Center of the Abbasid World, built by Al-Mansur;
>Province - Bagdhad - ID: 693;
>Should require the region to be under Abbasid rule, or be (indirect / direct) subject to the >Character Al-Mansur, (or at least be under Muslim Ruler with at least 15 stewardship);
>Could give Prestiege, Learning and/or Stewardship Bonus. Maybe Piety boost, or reduced decadence.

Fortified City of Medina, in Mdina, Malta
Construction:
* ~800s Byzantine Melite and Upgrades to the Roman Settlement of Melita (Fort near the later Castellu di la Chitati)
* 870 Arab upgrades to Roman fortifications of Melita, construction of fort
* 1048-49 Larger settlement of Medina with new walls
* ~1300 Sicilian Mdina, new fort - Castellu di la Chitati possibly
>One of the many fortifications in Malta, that would give various regional superpowers trouble conquering the island. The Byzantines, Ummayads, Ottomans and many others launched multiple (significantly) failed assaults on Malta at various times - so this and a couple of other famous fortifications should be in the Game, to get a feel of the Island's real-life status as a floating Fortress. (like Castrum Maris/Fort St. Angelo; Gran Citadella of Gozo; The fortified Coastal Watchtowers, etc.)
>Province - Malta - ID: 812
>Should require some resources and tech level, or be in the right hands for the various upgrades.
>Could provide Improved Fortification level.

Re: the Pantheon in Rome - currently only active for Christians. Adding Hellenic and Reformed Hellenic or simply making it usable by all would be good.

Hagios Demetrios, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Construction: 629-634, it incorporates material from a previous V century church destroyed in a fire.
Reason for inclusion: The main sanctuary dedicated to Saint Demetrius, who was reputed to have saved the city from the Slavic invasions of the VII century, it was a major pilgrimage centre in the middle ages.
Province: 490 - Thessalonike
Bonus: Perhaps a martial bonus of some kind, Demetrius was a military martyr, normally represented as a Roman soldier. Or just a piety bonus otherwise.

For the importance as pilgrimage centre I can provide this link at the moment:

Jaromarsburg, Cape Arkona, Rügen, Germany

Construction: 9th century

Description: The Jaromarsburg was a cult site for the Slavic tribe of Rani dedicated to the god Svantovit and used from the 9th to the 12th century. It was located on the northeastern tip of the Baltic Sea island of Rügen at Cape Arkona, and was protected on two sides by the cliffed coast and from the land side by a Slavic burgwall.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaromarsburg

Location in game: Rügen, which is already a Slavic holy site. This building explains why that is so.

Bonus: Piety, fortification level and/or garrison bonus for Slavic rulers (was both temple and fortress, located on a highly defensible cape).

These bonuses should probably only be available to Slavic rulers (Catholics destroyed the temple when they captured it).
