The link to the Historic Buildings - HIP compatibility patch is not functioning properly.
manouchiala Nov 18, 2023 @ 3:14pm
is the mod compatible with city of wonders
Imperator of Rome Oct 24, 2023 @ 5:05pm
I've seen a few wonders that are only active for Muslim rulers, when their descriptions suggest that they should be active for Christian and/or Jewish rulers too. Dome on the Rock is one of them.

i just installed the hip compath without the historic building and it doing weird stuff... and i like some chnage that it induce?? what
Sieradzki Jul 28, 2023 @ 2:03pm
is there any way to put the rome buildings into tivoli because its super frustrating not being able to use them
Grimes  [author] Apr 5, 2023 @ 6:06am
charles.deleo979 Thanks for testing it. I'll give it a look
Aetius Julius Caesar Apr 4, 2023 @ 8:34pm
So, the mod does work with those other two, but for some reason, the Parthenon doesn't show up in Athens.
Aetius Julius Caesar Apr 4, 2023 @ 2:39pm
@Grimes will do. If it causes any issues, I'll be sure to let you know so that way you can fix it for better compatibility with these two mods.
Grimes  [author] Apr 4, 2023 @ 2:36am
charles.deleo979 I see. Well try and see if it causes any issues
Aetius Julius Caesar Apr 3, 2023 @ 8:22am
@Grimes they don’t really change the map regions physically, but “A.D. 633” does change the de jure territories of the map, basically giving the Byzantines a ton of more land to rule over, and also establishing the Sassanid Empire. Oh, and Serbia and Croatia are renamed to “Dacia” and Illyria. I get the Illyria with Croatia, but Serbian Dacia? Wasn’t Dacia in Romania? Anyway, “Ancient Religions Reborn & Expanded” just adds a new Pagan flare to the base game.
Grimes  [author] Apr 3, 2023 @ 7:13am
@charles.deleo979 I don't have these mods installed so I'm not sure. If these mods change the map regions then it probably won't be compatible, if not it will be compatible.. You'll have to try and see how it goes
Aetius Julius Caesar Apr 2, 2023 @ 10:25am
So, what sort of mods are compatible with this one? Would mods like Ancient Religions Reborn and AD 633: Rise of Islam not cause it to crash?
Mandoyle Feb 1, 2023 @ 8:42am
newgrange in meath in ireland is 5223 years old maybe put that in your build menu it older then the pyramids.

@corfinius Updating CkII mods had always been troublesome to be honest. That's why I try to avoid it like the plague 😂
Grimes  [author] Jul 30, 2022 @ 4:21pm
@corfinius Oh ok, thanks for confirming it still works. I updated the description that it works with the latest patch so people now know.
Grimes  [author] Jul 28, 2022 @ 1:59am
@corfinus Glad it still works! What date you mean I should update?
Grimes  [author] Jul 24, 2022 @ 1:47am
@corfinius I stopped working on this one since I suppose most people play CK3 now..
Riekopo Dec 18, 2021 @ 8:51pm
Does need update?
Grimes  [author] Jan 23, 2021 @ 5:59am
@Riekopo
Yes, if I remember correctly it couldn't work properly downloading it through Steam
Riekopo Jan 18, 2021 @ 11:25pm
Is there a reason the "Historic Buildings - HIP compatibility patch" isn't on the Steam Workshop?
jaimeravachi Oct 27, 2020 @ 7:12pm
Cambridge University is available but Oxford isn't.
lalarukh3 Oct 26, 2020 @ 9:04am
SWMH also moves Bethlehem into the county of Jerusalem (774) and St Catherine's on Sinai into its own province (786), so the buildings should go with that too. Cheers!
Grimes  [author] Oct 26, 2020 @ 8:05am
Thanks for the bug reports. It's been a while since I last modded CKII but I'll fix the ones you reported as soon I can
lalarukh3 Oct 25, 2020 @ 9:15pm
Also, unrelated to that, the Tower of London is coded as a regular building, but has its description localised for a wonder so it never appears in the game.
lalarukh3 Oct 21, 2020 @ 3:49pm
Have to report that despite the HIP compatch, some wonders appear double if used with that mod, namely those whose provinces have been split up by the SWMH map. I've noticed a second Mausoleum in Lykia (747) and a second Aachen Palace in Juliers (90) so far.
jaimeravachi Oct 18, 2020 @ 8:16am
Some buildings start as already built because its historically accurate but some are not. All of Rome's are but for example, Kent should have the canterbury cathedral already built since it was built around the 5th or 6th century.

many thanks
NTRMexica15 Mar 28, 2020 @ 10:50am
What's the major difference between this Mod and Unique Buildings?
Grimes  [author] Feb 9, 2020 @ 2:40am
ecl-inc Thanks!
Prometheus Feb 3, 2020 @ 5:37am
Is this compatible with CK2+?
ecl-inc Feb 2, 2020 @ 9:44am
I've started to compile all the not-yet-implemented* suggestions into an extensive collapsable excel-form. I'll finish that when I have the Time and send u the DL-Link via Steam.

The format is something like:
Suggested by; Date of Construction (Real World); Name; Description; Type; Location Today; LVL 1-5 Attributes [including: Requirements, Cost, Bonuses, Features]; Notes; Ingame Province; provided Link to external Page with further Information (eg.Wikipedia)

*(Also of the ones already in the Game)
Riekopo Dec 13, 2019 @ 12:31am
Are the buildings regular buildings or are they Wonders? Because some cities had multiple impressive buildings in real life. Also, if you go through the different startdate bookmarks are the buildings already built in their correct year? I'm guessing this mod is not compatible with the other Historic Buildings mod?
Grimes  [author] Dec 12, 2019 @ 4:11am
@Riekopo It focuses more on historic accuracy. For example you can't build the historic buildings unless the location and the year are similar to the ones that existed in real history. Also the time needed to complete the construction is also based in historic facts. Hope I helped 😉
Riekopo Dec 11, 2019 @ 11:36pm
How does this mod compare to the other historic buildings mod?
Petko_ Aug 22, 2019 @ 6:10am
Thank you very much!
Via Noir Aug 21, 2019 @ 2:48pm
Many thanks!
Grimes  [author] Aug 21, 2019 @ 2:27pm
@Via Noir
not a mistake, and it is meant to be played with HIP SWMH :cozyspaceengineersc:
Via Noir Aug 21, 2019 @ 1:56pm
Thank you, sir. I have got two questions yet: is it a mistake that the file has ".mod.mod" format? and Is it compatible with HIP SWMH too?
Grimes  [author] Aug 21, 2019 @ 1:51pm
HIP compatch is ready and can be downloaded from the link above :cozybethesda:
Via Noir Aug 21, 2019 @ 8:31am
@Grimes Thanks! I'm waiting too
Petko_ Aug 17, 2019 @ 10:13am
@Grimes thank you
Grimes  [author] Aug 17, 2019 @ 2:27am
@Petko_ I'm working on a compatible HIP version, it will be ready pretty soon
Petko_ Aug 16, 2019 @ 12:17pm
HIP compatible?
Grimes  [author] Aug 11, 2019 @ 9:41pm
@Riekopo Nice suggestions, will see if I can add some of them in a future update
Grimes  [author] Aug 8, 2019 @ 10:10am

[Nub]Newbie(늅뉴비)※# Jul 10, 2019 @ 1:06pm
It works fine, Thanks for the update!
Grimes  [author] Jun 26, 2019 @ 7:03am
Ok folks I finally found some time and updated the mod, sorry for the delay. It should work fine now with the latest 3.2.1 patch
Halou Jun 24, 2019 @ 11:30am
With the most recent game patch, this mod negatively affects the counties in Egypt. Turning them into their province number rather than their name.
