Move It and Train Stations
As a train creator who is making longer and realistic length trains I will explain 2 issues that are caused by Move It. This might be useful for people who are beginners for Move It, or those who are experiencing said issues.

1. Long trains and big stations:

Cities: Skylines HATES long trains. Game does not allow the creation of large stations and with that, large trains are useless. The maximum length that can be reached for a station track and train station, without mod/tricks, is around 12units. This is approximately 96 meters that is a total joke compared to real life.

The workaround for this is to edit station track segments with script/ModTools in asset editor (during the creation of station asset) and extend them to 18-20units (160m). This is already a cheat, since mods are involved to make this doable.

Move It, however works on 2 ways.

For asset creators, it allows the creation of large stations up to 20u, directly in asset editor by simply extending station tracks. But it also allows players to extend them further in game, up-to 28-30units (240m), to reach close to real life station lengths.

You can right now extend station tracks in-game by holding ALT key and extend them to the limit I mentioned. It is tricky however, while 28u is working 100% of the time, 30u is a stretch and not always working at all times, so be aware.

I previously made a guide about making large stations for 'XL' category trains, which you can read it here:

It also proposes various methods to make them functional, aside Move IT and should reply certain questions that involves large complexes and rolling stock. The longest train station 'complex' ever made for CSL is currently Himeyama Station by Ronyx, that is stretching up to 1000 meters:

2. Wonky pathfinding on stations that are placed by Move It:

Stations are not pure train tracks. All stations have a custom pedestrian 'networks' inside the structure, from the entrance of the building to the platform level. Pedestrians are walking on these invisible networks to reach their corresponding platforms. It may be possible that on certain people, these networks become broken after station is being plopped by Move It copy-paste function, or mere replacement.

From my perspective this is a pure unlucky scenario, as I failed to break my stations with this method, they always worked fine with Move It involved. Regardless, it's a possibility to be aware of. In addition, elevated stations are more susceptible this error as they are above the ground level.

There is nothing can be done for 2 cases, as longer stations involves base code of the game and station placement is being handled by road connection on majority of the assets of the workshop.

Keep these limitations in mind when working with stations.

Have a nice play.

BTW using some Move it! functions (besides moving it around, but sometimes moving it around can cause this problem) on a MOM metro station that was converted from a train station will result in the metro station becoming a train station, especially with above ground stations.
