What options are available?

All options are "AND" combined, if you set a class, a "from" level and a search phrase, then only the exact combination will be searched.

The options are:

A) left part of the creature finder window
The Creature Class:
Select "ANY CREATURE" to find all types of creatures (can be disabled by a server admin (GameUserSettings), because of performance reasons)
Select a specific creature class to search only for this class. This is very restrictiv, be sure to select the right creature class. This setting is in mosts cases the reason for not finding any dino.

(The buttons on the top of the creature class list are only for filtering the the class list. It has nothing to do with the search.)

B) the middle part of the creature finder window
Search Phrase Field:
Here you can enter a searchphrase in the search edit field. The mod searches for the class name, the dino name and the tamed dino name given by the tamer in case of tamed dino.

The Level:
You can set the "from" Level.
For example if you want to search for a level 100 and upwords dino, enter in the first level field 100 and leave the "to" field at 0.
Set the "to" level field to a value greater than the "from" field to let the CFD search for dinos with a level between "to" and "from".
Default is "from" 0 and "to" 0, which means any level will be searched.

The Gender:
If the "Use Gender" option is unchecked, the gender is not relevant for the search.
If the "Use Gender" option is checked, and the "Female" option is unchecked, only male
dinos AND dinos without gender (will be changed in a future update) are searched. If you check the "Female" option, only female dinos will be found.
You can only check/uncheck "Female", after setting the "Use Gender" checkbox.
Default is "Gender" unchecked, "Female" unchecked.

Tamed:
"Tamed" is unchecked: you can ONLY search for wild dinos
"Tamed" is checked: you can ONLY search for your/your tribe's tamed dinos
Default is unchecked. (This can be restricted to "Tamed" by a server admin (GameUserSettings) to only search for tamed dinos)

Can be Tamed:
If checked, only dinos, that can be tamed, are searched for. Otherwise tameable and not tameable dinos will be searched.
Default is unchecked.

C) The right part of the CFD window
You can save a profile with the actual options you set, including the Class, Search Phrase, Level From, Gender, Tamed and Can Be Tamed.
By clicking on a profile the saved options are set and the search will be started automatically.
