Where Do i Start?

i took interest on the mod expansion contents , but i don't know where to start the mod's content.
where is the crafting table? how do i access the Hub? do i need to create a new character? anyone with experience on using the mod could give me an answer how do i start the base fun part of shellguard's experience? thanks.

You can get a vending machine once you get the t3 inventors table. From there you can find everything you need
