Just as it says on the tin.

The other day, I was doing a 1930 start date run as Spain, hoping to do the non-Fascist Monarchy run. I had completed most of the Focuses available - the rest had a modifier demanding I 'make a decision' of sorts - when, in the middle of a focus, Alfonso abdicated.

Did I do something wrong? I made him an advisor for the Stability he gives, and I was in the middle of the Reduce Royal Spending (or whatever it was called) focus. Is there a way to put a new Monarch on the throne, or am I stuck as a Republic?
