Hi Meakin! I am not aware of any way that could happen, but unfortunately my knowledge of the inner workings of Rimworld and all the aspects of mod interaction are extremely limited. The one thing I know is that this mod only changes the beauty values of the things like dirt, sand, water, etc. Each of these things in Rimworld has a property called Beauty and it's an integer value between -2 and 5 or so, usually. Negative numbers make people's mood go down a certain percentage when they are in the presence of those items. Positive numbers likewise boost the mood. I'm not aware of any reason why that simple of a mechanic would influence mood when someone dies.
